Trading Combine consistency target:

• Minis affected - ES, RTY, YM, NQ, NKD, GC, SI, HG, PL (no new opening transactions)
• Micros affected - MES, M2K, MYM, MNQ, MGC, SIL, MHG (opening transactions limited by account size tier)

Copy Trading:

• Trade copying can only be applied to accounts within the same trading environment. you can copy trades from a trading combine to an Express Funded Account, and from an Express from a trading combine to an Express Funded Account, and from an Express Funded Account to a Trading combine. Live Funded Accounts cannot utilize the Trade Copier.
• Cross-account hedging is prohibited at Topstep.

Automated strategies and EA's:

• Automated strategies (EAs) are allowed, but traders are fully responsible for their setup and performance. Bots must comply with all trading rules no manipulative or unfair software and TopstepX only supports automation via API access.‍

‍On Express Funded account‍

• ‍After payout the capital remaining in your account will be the maximum amount you will be able to lose. Your maximum loss limit will always be set to $0 after your payout.

Inactivity:

• Express Funded Account must have at least one trade every 30 days to remain open.

• The use of VPNs, Proxy Services, TOR, geo-location obfuscation, and other potential identity masking services are not permitted

Trading Combine/Reset Purchase Limits

No limit on Trading Combine purchases

• Traders are allowed 2 Resets per account per calendar day.
• The Do's and Don'ts of SIM Fills
• Topstep prohibits any attempts to exploit or manipulate the simulated environment, and may reject profits if abuse is detected.
• Practices like scalping algorithms, rapid-fire trades, impossible fills, or unrealistic stop-loss execution are not allowed.

2% Price Limit Rule:

• Topstep do not allow market participation when a product is trading within 2% of a Price Limit. Applies to all levels of Topstep's program.

XFA Size and Payout Path Lock:

• Your Express Funded Account size matches the Trading Combine you passed and is locked both before and after activation. At XFA activation you choose your Payout path, Standard or Consistency, and once selected that choice cannot be changed.

Live Funded Account:

• 5 winning days of $150+ Net P&L per Payout cycle (non-consecutive). Request up to 50% of account balance, no dollar cap. Day count restarts after each Payout.
• Daily Payouts unlock after 30 non-consecutive $150+ winning days: request as much of your unlocked balance as you want, once per day, minimum $125. Requesting a full 100% Payout closes the LFA.

LFA Size:

• Based on the average account size of all active, eligible XFAs with at least 1 Payout (funded tier, not current balance), rounded up to nearest tier ($50K/$100K/$150K).

Starting Balance:

• 20% available to trade immediately (minimum $10,000), 80% held in Reserve. Reserve unlocks in 4 increments of 25% as you hit profit thresholds:
• $50K tier - $3,000 | $100K tier - $6,000 | $150K tier - $9,000
• Reviewed every Monday, funds deposited within 1-2 business days.

Daily Loss Limit by tier:

• $50K - $2,000 | $100K - $3,000 | $150K - $4,500
• If tradable balance drops to $10,000 or below: DLL becomes $2,000, Max Position 5 contracts.
• If tradable balance drops to $5,000 or below: DLL becomes $1,000, Max Position 3 contracts.
• These adjust on Fridays and return to standard once balance rises back above the threshold.

If LFA Balance Drops Below $1,000:

• account is liquidated and closed at end of day, remaining balance sent as final Payout.

Shoulder Tap:

• A simulated funded account created after a call-down from Live. Structured path back to Live trading, callback is discretionary based on trading behavior.
