I went into instant funding thinking it was another one like the other firms where you fail something small and you just lose, but it proven otherwise, in a day i reached 110$ in profits over a little bit of trades but ended it by blowing the account because i accidentally did a trade on my phone and didnt see it until it autoclosed sadly, but im looking forward to work with instantfunding again and will get my first payout soon.

This situation with Instant Funding is honestly laughable and highlights exactly why many traders are losing trust in prop firms. I had a $100,000 IF Micro account. On one single trade: Instrument: JPN225.x Direction: Buy Lot size: 0.1 Entry: 52,250.78 Stop Loss: 50,622.64 (distance ≈ 1,628 points) Even with a very wide SL, the real monetary risk on 0.1 lot for JPN225 is nowhere near $1,000 (1% of the account). What I liked the most about Instant Funding was the instant access to a funded account without any evaluation phase, profit targets, or time pressure. This allowed me to focus purely on trading rather than passing a challenge. The high profit split (up to 90%) and scaling opportunities are also very attractive for traders looking to grow. Most importantly, after a serious issue with my account being incorrectly flagged, the senior support team handled the situation professionally. They took the time to review my case, acknowledged the mistake, reinstated my account, and approved my payout. This showed me that there is a real human support system behind the automated processes, which builds trust.
The main issue was the lack of transparency in how the 1% risk per trade idea rule is calculated and enforced, especially on indices like JPN225. In my case, a normal trade with a proper Stop Loss was incorrectly flagged as a breach due to what appears to be an internal risk calculation discrepancy. The system showed a significantly inflated risk value without a clear explanation. Additionally, there was no warning before the account was closed, which made the experience stressful and confusing. I believe the firm should improve transparency by clearly explaining their risk calculation model and ideally introducing pre-breach warnings to prevent similar situations for other traders.

They suddenly terminated my account, accusing me of “IP sharing” and “copy trading violations.” My account was deactivated, and I lost access completely. I spent the next two months following up via email and even requested a Zoom call so I could prove my trades were legitimate. They refused every time, repeating the same generic response: “our system detected it and the decision is final.” The only “evidence” they provided was an Excel sheet showing just two trades. These trades were from my old (already breached) account, and even then, the details didn’t match—the account sizes, entry times, and exit times were all different. In fact, I entered those trades before the so-called “other trader” and exited earlier as well. This clearly disproves any claim of copy trading. I have no connection with any other trader, and I do not engage in copy trading. Their conclusion is baseless.

Hi, We would like to clarify the timeline and findings regarding your payout request and subsequent account review. Your payout request was submitted via Rise on January 29, 2026. As part of the standard payout process, customers are required to complete the Rise onboarding process before the payout review can begin. This is an external onboarding requirement and not a delay caused by our side. Our support team also assisted you throughout this process and provided clarification regarding the required steps. Once the Rise onboarding was completed, the payout review commenced. During this review, on 03/02/2026, your account activity was flagged and reviewed for prohibited trading behaviour. Following a detailed investigation, the account was confirmed to be engaged in copy trading activity in breach of our Trading Rules and Terms & Conditions. Supporting evidence relating to the violation was shared with you during our communication. We would also like to clarify that at no point did we reverse or withdraw our findings regarding the violation. Our position remained consistent throughout the review process. Regarding your concern that the trades could not constitute copy trading because your entries occurred slightly earlier than the compared account, please understand that exact timestamp matching is not the sole factor used in identifying copy trading behaviour. Our review confirmed that: 1. The trades were executed within an extremely short timeframe 2. The same instruments and trade directions were used 3. The opening and closing patterns were closely mirrored across accounts Additionally, differences in lot sizes do not invalidate copy trading classifications, as such variations can naturally occur due to account size differences, scaling methods, or varying risk parameters. Our systems assess the overall behavioural correlation and consistency of trading activity rather than relying solely on identical execution times or lot sizes. Based on the complete evidence reviewed, the activity matched established copy trading indicators and was therefore confirmed as a violation. As outlined in our Trading Rules and Terms & Conditions, all trading activity must be conducted independently. Any form of mirrored or replicated trading behaviour across accounts is strictly prohibited. Following multiple reviews by the relevant teams, the violation remains valid and the decision is final.
