I have been trading with AquaFunded for approximately one year across multiple challenges. During this period, I eventually passed a $200K three-step challenge and reached funded status. Throughout the funded evaluation and trading phases, no issues, warnings, or concerns were raised regarding my trading activity. All trading was conducted independently by myself, without copying, coordination, or reliance on other traders or external accounts. After submitting my first payout request of $7,084.80 on the $200K funded account, my account was placed under a risk review. I was asked to provide an explanation for specific trades, which I did, including detailed charts and a breakdown of my trade logic. Despite this, the payout was rejected based on alleged “reverse trading,” with reference to similarities in trade timing, lot sizes, holding duration, and execution patterns with another account. No detailed breakdown or trade-specific analysis was provided after my response. The decision remained unchanged and the account was closed following the review. The issue was raised only at the payout stage on the funded account, despite a long trading history with the firm.

The evaluation process was clearly structured across multiple challenges and the three-step model remained consistent. The trading platform functioned normally throughout the entire period.

Least Liked Aspect

The risk review on the funded $200K account relied on general trading pattern similarities without providing a detailed breakdown linked to individual trades, despite a full explanation and supporting charts being submitted. The timing of the issue only appearing at the payout stage after extended trading with no prior concerns raised significantly impacted the overall outcome.

Summary

My payout request of $7,084.80 was rejected following a risk review conducted by the firm. I was informed that the decision was based on alleged “reverse trading” or “coordinated activity.” The explanation stated that my trading matched with one specific trade from another account, based on similarities in trade timing, lot sizes, holding duration, and execution pattern. After approximately one year of trading with the firm, no similar concerns were raised during any earlier activity, and the issue only appeared at the time of my payout request. I had followed all rules outlined in the FAQ throughout my trading period. After being notified, I provided a detailed response with charts and explanations, but the decision remained unchanged and no further detailed breakdown was provided. Following this, the payout was denied and the account was closed.

I had a funded account with AquaFunded and legitimately earned $8,000 in profits through independent trading from my home in Coventry, UK. I used Starlink satellite internet (primary) and Smarty mobile data (backup on Three UK network), both of which use dynamic IPs and CGNAT (Carrier-Grade NAT), meaning public IPs are shared regionally among unrelated users – a standard UK mobile/satellite setup. Key issues in order: Initial routine review: They repeatedly asked if I used VPN/VPS/proxies. I confirmed multiple times: No, I do not and never have. Trading was solo on my own devices. Frequent IP changes flagged: Natural due to Starlink handoffs and mobile tower switches. I explained this clearly (CGNAT on Three UK causes innocent overlaps with other traders on the same shared public IP). Sudden rejection: After requesting the $8,000 payout, they claimed "over 2,500 IP matches with other UK traders" on one shared IP (92.40.185.174 from Three UK). Sent a 19-second video scrolling through a table of unrelated account logins all tied to that single IP – no timestamps, no trade correlations, no proof of coordination/copy trading. No evidence provided: Despite my offers to supply Starlink logs, Smarty data usage screenshots, geolocation captures (all UK/Coventry), and explanations of CGNAT, they refused breakdowns or further details, citing "security/privacy." Inconsistent enforcement: Smaller prior payouts were approved on the exact same setup with no IP flags raised. Only now, with a larger amount, they suddenly care. Hard breach & account closure: Emails arrived calling it a "rule violation, hard breach" and rejecting the withdrawal – no specific rule cited, no evidence beyond the shared IP list. Refund with gag order: Offered only my challenge fee refund if I signed a Non-Disclosure & Non-Disparagement Agreement forbidding me from posting reviews, discussing the dispute, or sharing any details publicly/private (including on social media/forums). This is a clear attempt to silence criticism. They ignored my final polite demand for the full payout or evidence, and now refuse to engage. This feels like selective enforcement to avoid paying profits – common in complaints about AquaFunded (vague IP/copy trading denials, NDA pressure, prior payouts fine but larger ones blocked). My trading was fully compliant and independent; I wouldn't even know how to copy trade or share accounts. Traders: Be extremely cautious. Document everything, avoid if you value fair payouts and transparency. Plenty of better firms exist.

I have bought over 10 accounts with aqua funded, after so many trials, I got funded. Then they sent me a very hostile email saying if I risked more than 1% of the account, then I will be breached. I didn't understand the hostility but I adjusted my risk. Then it was time for cashout, they said to do verification with risework, I did it. Then I was waiting and waiting, no communication, nothing. Then I started writing to them, they said to book a quick interview that week but system didn't let me book, it moved me to the next week. Then instead of confirming the day I booked the interview, they moved it to another day. Then I complained, then they told me it would be Monday, asked of invite, it never came. They continued to delay until we had the interview and everything was fine. Then they said, I would get an email soon, email never came until I started chatting on discord and then they sent message saying I copied trades, wrote back to them requesting a video call so I can explain things to them, then they completely ignored me. Customer service became extremely rude.... I started complaining and they blocked me on discord. They wrote me an email saying I should sign NDA before he could refund me my money, mind you I had another active account and both accounts have been blocked. take this warning seriously.

I have been trading with Aqua Funded for about a year, and until recently, everything seemed smooth. I completed four successful payouts, traded responsibly, and followed every rule they set. I was genuinely passionate about improving my skills — self-taught through online courses, videos, and constant practice. However, my most recent payout changed everything. This time the payout took longer than usual. When I contacted the team, instead of a proper update, I was accused of sharing my account with three people — something I have never done. I trade solo, on my own phone, using my own strategies and skills. After pushing back, they later admitted it was a mistake and the accusations were not true. But then they changed the story again, claiming “someone else was trading on my phone,” which makes absolutely no sense. I work hard every day, spending hours trading and waiting for my payout, only to be met with changing excuses and baseless accusations. They even accused me of copy trading, but Aqua Funded clearly states on their own website that copy trading is allowed. At this point, it feels like they are simply looking for reasons not to pay out. After building trust across multiple successful payouts, they suddenly turn around, block communication, and try to invalidate your hard-earned profit. In my experience, Aqua Funded has shown unprofessionalism, inconsistency, and deceptive practices. What started as a promising relationship ended in what feels like a deliberate attempt to avoid paying traders. I strongly advise traders to be cautious. This feels like a setup — gain your trust, let you pass a few payouts, and when the profits grow, they try to take it away. Extremely disappointing

I’d like to share my experience with AquaFunded, as I believe it raises concerns that may be relevant to your community. I traded on an Instant Funding Pro account for one full month, strictly following their rules — \t•\tNo trade exceeded the 2% loss limit \t•\tDaily loss never surpassed 3% \t•\tTrades were never open simultaneously After requesting my payout, AquaFunded began giving me a series of shifting justifications: Wave Stop (not applicable), daily 2% limit (they state 3%), max loss per trade, and then -2% floating PnL. I provided time-stamped screenshots and trade data for each claim — all disproved. Finally, I asked a clear question: Can you provide platform-based proof that my floating PnL exceeded -2% at any time? No evidence was ever shown. Instead, they closed the case and offered me a new account. I wasn’t asking for charity — I asked for what I earned. And I still haven’t received it. I believe traders deserve to know how payout disputes are handled. If you’d like screenshots or documentation, I’m happy to provide them.

The dashboard was user-friendly, and the overall funding process was fast and smooth. I also appreciated the initial professionalism in communication — up until the payout stage.

Least Liked Aspect

The payout process was extremely disappointing. Despite following all the rules and providing evidence, I was given multiple shifting reasons for denial — and no actual platform-based proof was ever shared. It felt like the goalposts kept moving once I became eligible for a withdrawal.

Summary

I traded for one month on an Instant Funding Pro account, fully complying with the rules. My trades were never open simultaneously, and losses were within allowed limits. When I requested my payout, the firm gave multiple conflicting reasons — finally settling on a supposed -2% floating PnL breach. I requested platform-based evidence of this breach, but none was ever provided. Instead, they closed my case and offered a new account. I followed the rules and earned my payout — I believe I was unfairly denied.

I was with Aqua for a period of time, they seem fine, until i reached a payout of 7000+ and then I finally seen what they look like a business. That they declined my payout, which i worked hard and consistent for nearly a month, saying i did copy trading. Then i started digging deep, many red flags, after i got email that my payout is declined i started questioning, all they could say cannot reopen case and confirm of copy trades which i never did. Be aware, keep your funds safe and away from aqua.

Aqua Funded denied my payout of 3000$, claiming my account had accessed their platform from a restricted region (Singapore). However, I exclusively used a VPS located in Amsterdam, and I provided substantial evidence to prove this: Documentation from my VPS provider confirming the IP address belongs to a server in Amsterdam. Verification from multiple IP geolocation services showing the same. Other prop firms recognize this IP address as Amsterdam-based. My Concerns No Prior Warning: I specifically asked Aqua Funded's live support if they would notify me of any potential issues before breaching my account. They assured me this would happen, but I received no warning before my account was breached and my payout denied. Lack of Accountability: Despite providing clear evidence, Aqua Funded has maintained their position without explaining why their geolocation tools differ from industry standards. Transparency Issues: The support team has not adequately addressed my concerns or explained their actions, leaving me frustrated and without the payout I earned on account 31420 I recommend you all to never use Aquafunded! We appreciate you sharing your experience. AquaFunded enforces location-based compliance measures to adhere to regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies. Accounts accessing the platform from restricted regions are subject to review, even if a VPS or other tools are used to connect from another location.

All actions are based on our platform’s documented monitoring systems and program rules. While we understand this may be frustrating, these measures are in place to maintain fairness, compliance, and the integrity of our funding program for all traders.

Got my payout partially denied because I traded 20 lots USDJPY 2 minutes and 7 seconds before an AUD news (the trade lasted ~1 hour) Their rules say you cannot trade news 2 minute before and after RED NEWS if you're using more than 25% of your margin or you get your profit deducted. Their leverage is 1:100 as they advertise on website so 20 lots USDJPY is almost 20% of margin. Also to be precise opening the trade 2 minutes and 7 seconds is still in the rules. I basically got blatantly scammed even if my trade was within the rules
