QT Funding failed to honor basic trading integrity during my challenge. My NZD/USD swing trade—placed legally with a clear 100 pips stop loss—was forcibly closed over the weekend for a $1,638 loss (-1.63%) despite price never nearing my stop. Their excuse? “Rollover spread widening.” On a major pair. In a simulated account. When I demanded proof, they ghosted me after five follow-ups. No data, no transparency, no accountability. If they treat evaluation traders this way, imagine what happens after you pass. Zero trust.

QT Funding closed my NZD/USD trade with a $1,638 loss because their system claims “equity dropped below the limit” during rollover—yet price never neared my stop. They admitted the spread spiked to 43 pips (Bid: 0.57252 / Ask: 0.57684), and their automated system liquidated me based on that temporary spread—not actual price movement. I was risking only 1% ($1,000) with a 100+ pip stop. At Sunday open, the mid-price was ~0.5747—still dozens of pips above my stop. But because their simulator uses worst-case bid/ask for equity calculations, a 43-pip artificial spread turned a safe swing trade into a blown drawdown. This isn’t “market reality”—it’s a design flaw. If your equity can be vaporized by millisecond liquidity gaps on major pairs, then no swing trader is safe, regardless of risk management. Worse, they refuse accountability, citing “rules” that don’t warn you your 1% risk can become 1.6% due to phantom spreads. They even allow gold (which has wider normal spreads) to be held over weekends—but punish you for holding NZD/USD? Make it make sense. After 4+ unanswered follow-ups and a ghosting agent, I have zero faith in their fairness or transparency. Avoid QT Funding if you trade swings, hold trades, or value honest evaluation.

Oh man.... it's been 1 year since i bought 25k from QT, i wish i passed the account 1 year ago, but you know time can't rewind, what we can do is just hoping, you can't predict the future, the things you can do is expect the unexpected, that's it!

I would recommend you to buy anything else but this prop firm this is the worst prop firm you can buy. I bought 4 accounts with them i passed 2 of them traded independently opened different positions they rejected my account by saying that I hedge the accounts. And reset both of my accounts and after that they gave me another chance I passed that account as well now they are saying I can't risk more than 3% in evals. Like why we don't have that as a strict rule.

My trade got closed out randomly without any reason. Price never even came close to my stop loss. I didn't think this could ever happen to me as a swing trader. I follow all the risk rules, I follow all the news rules, so why?
