QT Funded presents an appealing proposition with high profit-splits (up to ~90%) and funding of up to around US$200,000 for qualified traders, offering good growth potential for disciplined traders. Forex Prop Firms +1 Many users commend their customer-support responsiveness and the lower cost entry compared to some competitors. Trustpilot +1 However, several red flags merit caution: numerous traders report unclear and changing rules, occasional payout denials, and delays in account or support processing. proptradingfirms.net +1 Given this mix...

The firm advertises clear and rule-based risk management policies; however, in my case, enforcement was inconsistent with the written rules. My account was forfeited for “Excessive Exposure,” despite the rules explicitly stating that the penalty for such exposure is a reset to Phase 1, not immediate forfeiture. The decision relied on subjective interpretations such as “gambling behavior” rather than clearly defined, published rules. This lack of alignment between written policies and applied penalties raises serious concerns about transparency, fair...

The firm offers a structured trading environment with clear risk parameters, competitive spreads, and fast execution. The evaluation process appeared transparent at first, and the written rules gave confidence that trades would be judged objectively based on predefined criteria.
The main concern is the inconsistency between the firm’s written rules and their enforcement. In my case, a violation classified as “Excessive Exposure” resulted in immediate account forfeiture, despite the rules stating that the penalty should be a reset to Phase 1. The decision relied on subjective interpretations rather than clearly defined, published rules.

Breach Reason
Excessive exposure exceeding the firm’s daily drawdown limit
Summary
The firm classified my trade as “Excessive Exposure” and stated that my position exposed more than 75% of the daily drawdown limit. While I acknowledge the exposure level, the firm enforced immediate account forfeiture. However, according to their published rules, the stated penalty for excessive exposure is a reset to Phase 1, not account termination. The breach decision relied on subjective terms such as “gambling behavior” rather than a clearly defined rule authorizing forfeiture.

Just finished using QT Funded’s $10k 2-step challenge and honestly, it was a good experience. Setup was fast, spreads were tight, and the platform ran smoothly. The rules are fair but you’ve got to stay disciplined with the drawdowns. Support was quick whenever I needed help.

I highly won’t recommend this firm. After smooth sail passing my $50k account I go denied $2400 payout based on the system detection of -2275 % risk on a single trade (and I have maintained a maximum risk of 0.5% for other trades). Now they couldn’t show concrete evidence for this because it is quite impossible to have this amount of risk exposure on a single trade (that was closed in 1% profit btw) Reached out to the CEO on Twitter, he agreed it was an error and the account will be restored but they never did. I have friends that were similarly den...

Risk exposure of $2400
Summary
I got a payout denial and unjustified breach. After a smooth sail getting funded $50k, I got denied $2400 payout based on reason (risk exposure of -2275%) for a trade that ended In barely $30 loss btw Reached out to the team that it is impossible I maintained a 0.5% maximum all through challenge and funded stage and on one single trade risk 2275% with a 0.3 lot size trade. They had no other concrete evidence other than their dashboard shows this. Reached out to the CEO on Twitter and he said it was most likely an error and the account will be restored. But nothing was done after this despite further effort. Additionally, they stated the TP of a trade was moved during the 5 min prohibited news window with time stamps included in mail. I messages support that the time stamps they included clearly show that my TP was moved about 25 min after the news event but this was completely ignored by support.

Dear Risk Team, My case calls for a revision of your decision and for a due diligence to align your rule with how your automatic system check works: I had a payout request and you denied my profit share for alleged breaching of 2% risk rule. I attached the trade you refered to me. I placed 1.92 lot eurusd on my 25k instant account. As your rule does not require initial SL placement at the entry time I placed SL after entry to BE. This is in line with rule and clearly visible on the trade screenshot. But your system automatically calculates a b...

They have to revise the decision. I set SL right after my entering. My screenshot clearly shows I set SL to BE. Their rule allows it as SL is not required. Still their risk engine flagged it as it did not detect SL at entry. Therefore they denied my payout.on my instant account.
Deny payout when you keep the rule as they have discrepancy between their rule and risk engine.

I breached 2% risk rule
Summary
They say I breached 2% risk rule. But it is not true as I can prove with my trade screen that after entering the trade I set SL to BE. They do not require setting initial SL when entering the trade but their risk engine treats it as infinite risk and they deny payout. This is misguiding.

I had a great experience with Quant Tekel. Their platform is smooth, and the rules are clearly explained. I successfully received my payout without any issues, and the process was fast and transparent. The support team is also very responsive and helpful. Overall, I’m very satisfied with their service — a reliable and trustworthy prop firm that actually pays its traders. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a legit funded trading experience!
