News Trading Rule

• News trading is allowed at all times, including during high-impact events, as long as you do not risk your entire or majority account balance on a single news trade.

Copy Trading

• Copy trading is permitted between your own accounts, including personal or other prop firm accounts and a Funded Trading Plus account. Copying another trader's trades, or allowing others to copy yours, is strictly prohibited and may result in profits being nullified. Positions don't need identical open and close times to be flagged — overlapping trades on the same market and direction across different traders' accounts may trigger a review.

Expert Advisors

• EAs, algos, and bots are permitted, provided they comply with program rules. Abusive strategies such as arbitrage, grid trading, and tick scalping are prohibited. EAs may not be used for group copy trading or hedging across accounts. FT+ does not provide support for third-party EAs or bots, these remain the trader's responsibility.

Inactivity

• Your evaluation & FT+ Trader sim funded account would only expire in the event that there is no simulated trading activity on it within a 30-day period.

Weekend Holding

• Allowed except on Instant Funding where all trades must be closed by 4.30pm (EST) on Friday or will be automatically closed by the system

Crypto Trading On weekends

• Allowed

2-Step Classic 3% Symbol Loss Limit (Hard Breach)

• No single instrument can incur more than a 3% simulated equity loss, calculated based on the prior day's balance.
• Multiple simultaneous trades on the same instrument count as one.

Risk Review Policy

• FT+ performs risk reviews during evaluation passes, scaling, and withdrawal requests to ensure responsible trading and prevent issues early. Reviews focus on margin utilization, with set thresholds that trigger manual checks by the risk team.

Account Management policy

• Only the account owner may trade, purchase, and manage their FT+ account. Account sharing, third-party management, or using another person’s payment method is strictly prohibited and may cause KYC issues.

Instant Funding, 1-Step Express and Activation Accounts (Funded) Trailing Drawdown Lock

• The trailing maximum drawdown stops trailing once it reaches the initial account balance and locks there permanently.
• Withdrawals do not reduce the high-water mark — the drawdown continues to trail from the highest balance reached before the withdrawal, and will keep trailing upward if a profitable trade pushes past that point (until the lock at the initial balance is reached).
