LIVX Capital – Payout Rejection Over “News Trading Holding” I am posting this review based on my own experience with LIVX Capital and the documentation available to me. I am sharing the details so that other traders can make an informed decision. My experience I had a funded account with LIVX Capital and submitted a payout request after generating profits while trading according to the rules as I understood them. My payout request was subsequently declined. The only reason provided in the LIVX dashboard was: “news trading holding” They attached one particular BTCUSD trade as the reason for the rejection. The disputed trade The trade identified by LIVX was: - Instrument: BTCUSD - Direction: SELL - Volume: 0.05 - Entry: 26 July 2026 at 06:36:29 UTC - Entry price: 64,996.98 - Exit: 26 July 2026 at 09:03:09 UTC - Exit price: 64,188.84 The LIVX server time is UTC, which I verified by comparing their platform time with IST. Therefore, the position was held from approximately: 12:06 PM IST → 2:33 PM IST Why I questioned the rejection Before this payout issue, I had specifically contacted LIVX to understand their news-trading policy. LIVX support provided me with a written clarification stating that their high-impact news restriction: - Applies to the specific currency/country directly involved in the economic event. - Does not apply to indirectly correlated or unaffected assets. - Uses a 10-minute restriction window — 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after the event. - Applies to instruments that explicitly contain the currency tied to the Red Folder event on ForexFactory. - Also prohibits closing an existing position during the restricted window. I have screenshots of this communication. This clarification is important because the payout rejection was subsequently based on “news trading holding”, but LIVX did not identify which specific news event my BTCUSD trade allegedly violated. I checked the Forex Factory calendar I also checked the Forex Factory calendar for the relevant date. My BTCUSD position was open on: 26 July 2026, 06:36:29 UTC to 09:03:09 UTC. The Forex Factory calendar for Sunday, July 26 shows no Red Folder economic event overlapping this period. I have attached the relevant Forex Factory screenshot to this review. If LIVX considers a different event to be the basis for the violation, I believe it is reasonable to expect them to identify that event. What I asked LIVX I contacted LIVX and asked them to provide: 1. The exact news/economic event that allegedly caused the violation. 2. The currency/country associated with that event. 3. The exact release time. 4. The corresponding Forex Factory/Red Folder event. 5. The applicable 5-minute-before and 5-minute-after blackout window. 6. An explanation of how my BTCUSD position fell within that window. 7. If they were relying on crypto-specific news rather than a Forex Factory economic event, the specific event and the LIVX rule that makes it applicable. I have not received a satisfactory explanation identifying the specific event. The dashboard simply states: “news trading holding.” My concern I completely understand that a prop firm has the right to enforce its news-trading restrictions. I am not objecting to the existence of such a rule. My concern is the lack of a specific explanation for the payout rejection. If a trader's payout is rejected because of a rule violation, the trader should be able to determine: What event → what time → what rule → how the trade violated it. In my case, I have not been given that information. The fact that a BTC position was profitable and held during a period when the market moved significantly should not, by itself, establish that the trade was a prohibited news trade. Another concern: marketing vs. trader experience LIVX has a very strong presence in the prop-trading influencer space, and I have seen numerous trading influencers promoting the firm and its accounts. I cannot independently verify the commercial arrangement behind every individual promotion, so I am not claiming that every influencer promoting LIVX is paid. However, I do believe prospective traders should distinguish influencer promotions from independently verified payout experiences. This is particularly important because the firm's own website prominently presents successful trader stories and large payout figures as part of its marketing. There are also already other public trader complaints concerning payout disputes, support issues and account/platform problems. These are individual reports and should not automatically be treated as proof of wrongdoing, but they are worth considering alongside the firm's marketing claims. Prop Firm Match currently lists LIVX as unlisted, meaning it has not passed Prop Firm Match's verification/listing process. Prop Firm Match states that its verification process includes reviewing trading conditions, payout history, trader feedback and compliance practices. My recommendation to other traders I am not telling anyone that they should or should not trade with LIVX. However, based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that traders: - Read and save screenshots of the rules before purchasing an account. - Ask support specific questions about news trading before taking a funded account. - Keep screenshots/emails of any clarification provided by support. - Do not rely solely on influencer reviews or payout screenshots. - Ask for the exact rule and evidence whenever a payout is rejected. - Consider the firm's actual payout-dispute history, not just advertised successful payouts. Current status My payout was rejected for: “news trading holding.” I have asked LIVX to identify the exact news event and explain how my BTCUSD position violated the news-trading policy they previously provided to me. At the time of writing this review, I have not received a specific explanation identifying the event, its release time, and the applicable blackout window. I am posting this review because I believe potential traders deserve to see both sides of the picture — not only promotional content and successful payout screenshots, but also how the firm handles a disputed payout. I am happy to update this review if LIVX provides a clear explanation or reverses the decision. Evidence available: - LIVX payout rejection screenshot - Closed-trade screenshot showing exact entry/exit times - LIVX's written news-trading policy clarification - Forex Factory calendar screenshot for the relevant period

I successfully completed both phases of LivX Capital’s 10K 2-Step Challenge on March 11, 2026, in full compliance with all rules and without any violations. What is concerning is that after completing Phase 2, there was no proactive update from their side. I had to personally follow up multiple times — sending around 5 emails over a period of more than 10 days — just to get a response regarding my account status. Only after repeated follow-ups did their team confirm that I had passed Phase 2. They then stated that my funded account credentials would be issued within 24–48 business hours after their internal audit. However, even after this confirmed timeline has passed, I have still not received: My funded account credentials Any audit report Any clear explanation for the delay Despite continuous efforts from my side, the responses have been vague and non-committal, such as “under review,” with no accountability or concrete update. This raises serious concerns about: Lack of proactive communication Delays even after successful completion Reliability of their commitments and timelines Due to this experience, I have now initiated formal escalation, including legal and consumer complaint processes, and have started documenting this matter publicly. ⚠️ I would strongly advise others to be aware of such prop firms and exercise caution before engaging with them. I will continue to update this review based on how this situation is handled.
