FundingPips has introduced a broad set of changes for accounts purchased on or after September 28, 2026. Existing accounts are unaffected and retain their current rules, pricing, and account structure. The update covers risk rules, pricing and reset fees, overnight and weekend holding, several plan-specific parameters, and a significant rework of FundingPips PRIME.
What Happened
FundingPips has updated multiple parts of its lineup, including risk controls, account pricing, reset discounts, funded-account holding rules, individual program parameters, and the PRIME program.
Risk Rule Changes
Risk Per Trade Idea
The Risk Per Trade Idea rule has been removed from:
- FundingPips Zero
- 2-Step Flex funded accounts
Striking System
The Striking System has been removed from the standard funded version of:
- 2-Step Standard
- 1-Step Flex
However, it still applies when traders choose the monthly-payout option with a 100% profit split.
60% Profit Concentration Policy
The 60% profit concentration policy has been removed from all assessment-based accounts.
Pricing and Reset Fees
FundingPips has updated pricing across all assessment-based programs.
Reset discounts have also changed:
| Account Stage | Previous Discount | New Discount |
| Phase 1 | 15% | 8% |
| Phase 2 | 10% | 8% |
| Funded | 7% | 7% |
The reset structure remains unchanged. Resets restart from Phase 1, are available only within seven days of an account breach, and funded resets remain unavailable on $100K accounts and above.
Overnight and Weekend Holding
For assessment-based accounts, overnight and weekend holding remains allowed during the evaluation phase.
On funded Master Accounts, traders who want to hold positions overnight or over the weekend must purchase the Swing add-on at checkout.
Without the Swing add-on, open positions are automatically closed during a daily 15-minute window:
- 20:45–21:00 UTC during summer
- 21:45–22:00 UTC during winter
A system-generated close is not considered an account breach, but that day does not count as a valid trading day. Profits from those trades still contribute to the account balance, while the largest winning and losing days remain part of the consistency-score calculation.
FundingPips Zero operates differently: overnight holding remains allowed, while weekend holding remains prohibited as a hard breach. No Swing add-on is available for Zero accounts.
Plan-Specific Changes
FundingPips has also made the following program-level adjustments:
- 2-Step Pro: Minimum trading days have been removed. Previously, two evaluation trading days were required.
- 2-Step Flex: The Phase 2 profit target has increased from 6% to 8%.
- 1-Step Flex: A new 2% Daily Drawdown add-on is available at a lower cost than the base 3% Daily Drawdown option.
- 2-Step Standard: A new 3% Daily Drawdown add-on is available at a lower cost than the base 5% Daily Drawdown option. Selecting the 3% option also removes the three-day minimum trading-day requirement.
- 1-Step Flex and 2-Step Flex: The bi-weekly payout profit split has decreased from 85% to 80%.
- FundingPips Zero: Crypto leverage on non-swap-fee accounts has increased from 1:1 to 1:2.
Monthly Payout and 100% Profit Split Option
The Striking System remains in place for traders who select the monthly-payout option with a 100% profit split on:
- 1-Step Flex
- 2-Step Standard
- 2-Step Pro
- 2-Step Flex
This option also requires seven profitable trading days of at least 0.5% and applies a 35% consistency rule.
Under the retained Striking System, a warning is recorded when a trade idea reaches a floating loss equal to 1% of the account size:
- 1st violation: Warning
- 2nd violation: Reward split reduced by half
- 3rd violation: Reward split reduced to 20%
- 4th violation: Account breach
Any profit generated from a trade idea that received a warning is deducted from the account.
FundingPips PRIME Changes
PRIME Unlock
Previously, PRIME could be unlocked either after the third reward, on an optional basis, or through a FundingPips invitation.
PRIME is now invite-only.
PRIME Sizing and Account Structure
Under the previous structure, the unlock amount, which had to equal at least 2% and could be up to 10% of the initial account balance, was multiplied by 12.5 to determine the PRIME account size.
Under the new structure, the profit after the reward split is moved to the PRIME account and multiplied by 12.5 to determine its size.
Once a PRIME account opens, all Evaluation and Master Accounts will close after any open trades have been closed. Evaluation or Master Accounts cannot operate alongside a PRIME account.
PRIME Drawdown
The previous PRIME structure included a 2% daily pause and an 8% end-of-day trailing maximum loss.
Under the revised structure:
- Soft Daily Loss: 3%, based on the higher of balance or equity at the start of the day. Reaching the limit pauses trading for the remainder of the day and resets the following day.
- Maximum Loss Limit: 8% static, treated as a hard breach.
