Getting funded with Apex Trader Funding was one of the biggest turning points in my trading journey. I originally joined because their evaluations were affordable, especially during discounts, and I wanted a chance to trade futures without risking my own capital. I went in confident, but the trailing drawdown quickly humbled me. It forced me to tighten up my risk management, reduce position size, and stop taking impulsive trades. I actually failed my first evaluation by overtrading during a volatile session, but the low-cost reset made it easy to try again. On my next attempt, I focused only on my highest-probability setups, mainly during the first few hours of the New York session. I set a daily profit target, stopped trading once I hit it, and avoided forcing trades. I am now funded with 3 50k accounts.

From my personal experience with Apex, I can say that the platform is very serious about discipline and trading rules. I've always liked that they are clear about violations and offer transparency through the violations dashboard. I've seen that traders who follow the rules and trade consistently have no problems, while those who try to abuse the system or spread false information end up with closed accounts. Personally, it has taught me the importance of trading with discipline, not churning accounts or taking shortcuts, because Apex really protects the integrity of trading and the community.

It's an excellent company, a thousand stars for it. Pays on time and creates moderate and genuine traders, highly recommended.. the new products are the best thing they could have done.

Finally got my first ever payout with prop firms and of course it had to be with Apex, the first firm I actually started with back in 2023. In the past, I was denied payout by Apex, and they took so much time to actually respond to a pending request, but now they finally have an automated system to approve payout on the spot, as they did with my payout. Still, their support is sometimes more robotic, but overall their changes with the new EOD accounts and automated payout eligibility system make them once again attractive to me.

I’m honestly very frustrated and hurt by what happened with my Apex Trader Funding account. I worked really hard to pass the evaluation. Anyone who has gone through these challenges knows how much time, discipline, and mental pressure it takes. After finally passing, I paid $125 for the PA account and started trading carefully while following the rules. I had already made $412 in profit and was slowly working toward the $2.6k minimum required for the first payout. I was trading patiently and doing everything properly. Then suddenly my account was deactivated. The only explanation I received was that there were “discrepancies” in my account activity, but no specific reason was given. No clear violation, no details, nothing. Just that my account is closed and I cannot use Apex services anymore. This is extremely painful and frustrating because I genuinely struggled to pass the evaluation and invested both my money and time into this. Getting this kind of response without any real explanation feels very unfair. All I want is transparency. If there was truly a rule violation, then at least explain what it was. Traders deserve to know why their accounts are being closed, especially after putting in so much effort and paying for the PA account. Right now, I just feel very disappointed and let down.

I purchased a Rithmic 50k account and followed all the setup instructions provided by Apex, logging into both R|Trader Pro and NinjaTrader. However, I encountered issues immediately: R|Trader Pro continuously showed “No Market Data.” NinjaTrader only displayed the Sim101 (demo) account, not my funded account. I tried to troubleshoot the problem by checking forums, FAQs, updating my PC, resetting my router, and following all standard procedures, but nothing worked. I contacted Apex support, and after 48 hours they replied that “everything is fine,” yet the issues persisted. I submitted another ticket explaining that I had done everything I could, but I have received no further response. Today, when attempting to log in to the Apex website, I received: “Authentication problem, please contact website administrator.” I cannot log in either on the website or in R|Trader Pro. I feel like my account may have been restricted or banned without explanation. I have lost several days of trading and do not know how to proceed. Apex support has not responded to my latest inquiries, and I am extremely frustrated.

Super cheap challenges when they run a 90% discount campaigne. Rules are harder then most other firms so only for more experienced traders. Support is slow and website looks outdated but insane scalebility with this firms thanks to their 20 account limit

Payments are made within 7 business days, on time. What I don't like about this firm is that they recently removed metals from the trading portfolio; very lazy of them.
