Goat Funded Trader Prop Firm Details

Consistency rule for Instant GOAT, Instant Hero & GOAT Blitz (Funded Only)

• You can only request a payout if no single trading day accounts for 15% or more of your total profits during the payout period; otherwise, you must continue trading until this condition is met.

GENERAL RULES

News Trading

• News trading is allowed, but trades opened/closed (either manually or automatically, such as via stop loss, take profit, or pending orders) within 5 minutes before or after high-impact news can generate a maximum profit of 1% of the account’s initial balance. Excess profits are removed without penalties. This applies to both challenge and funded phases.

Expert Advisors (EAs)

• Yes, you can use them as long as the EAs comply with the prohibited trading practices rule. However, you are not allowed to use 3rd party EAs, high-frequency trading (HFT) strategies / systems and/or Gold Arbitrage EA.
• If your EA requires a VPS to run, keep in mind that VPS usage is strictly prohibited on All One Step,Two Step,Instant Premium and Pay Later accounts purchased from August 12, 2026.
• Using an EA or trading bot to pass the Challenge Account and then switching to manual trading in the Funded Account (or vice versa) is strictly prohibited

Copy Trading

• Copying trades (manually or via EA) between your own evaluation accounts, or from an evaluation account to a funded account, is not permitted — each challenge must be passed independently.
• Copy trading between your own funded accounts is allowed.
• Copy trading and signal services from other traders, signal providers, trading groups, or third-party services are strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.

Inactivity Rule

• 30 consecutive days, Inactive accounts within this period are breached

Social Media & Public Conduct

• Spreading false information or engaging in negative advertising about Goat Funded Trader on social media or public platforms is strictly prohibited. Violations result in:
  • Account termination
  • Permanent ban
  • Potential legal action

Risk Management & Trading Limits

• Risk limit: GFT may impose a 1% risk limit per trade idea if excessive risk-taking is detected. Non-compliance results in:

  • Immediate account breach
  • No payouts or entitlements

  Note: Restrictions may be lifted with consistent safe trading practices.

• GFT strictly prohibits high-risk, all-or-nothing strategies, including:

  • Using over 80% of available margin on a single trade.

Daily Profit Cap

• Funded Traders daily profits are capped at $3,000.

Minimum Trade Hold Time

• Profits from trades held under 2 minutes on funded accounts are not counted, while losses still apply.

Prohibited Trading Practices

• Exploit pricing/platform errors, use insider information, front-run trades, jeopardize broker relationships, create regulatory issues, all-or-nothing trading, risky trading styles, hedging (same or multiple accounts), use third-party/off-the-shelf EAs or strategies, switch strategies between assessment and funded stages, and duplicate trades or trade ideas across accounts, Martingale / Grid Recovery Systems Strategies that increase lot size after losses (Martingale or grid) are strictly prohibited.

Overnight | Weekend Holding/Trading (Crypto)

• Allowed

Weekend Gap Policy

• Weekend holding Allowed but prohibits trading solely to exploit Monday morning market price gaps.
• For funded accounts, any profits generated from trades opened in the last three hours of Friday and closed in the first three hours of Monday will be removed.

The Goat Guard

• Goat Guard is GFT's risk management tool for funded accounts (excluding instant funding), automatically closing all open trades if they reach a 2% loss to prevent excessive drawdowns.
• This "soft breach" allows immediate continued trading, with no ban.
• Triggering it once reduces profit split to 50%; a second time breaches the account fully.

Shared Device Usage

• Traders are strictly prohibited from accessing or operating their account on any shared mobile or desktop device.
• Detection of account activity from a shared device especially one linked to multiple user accounts will result in immediate disqualification from payout eligibility and may lead to account termination.

Minimum Trading Days

• Evaluation: 3 profitable trading days of 0.5% profit each day | Funded: 4 profitable trading days of 0.5% profit each day

INSTANT FUNDING MODELS PREMIUM, GOAT & HERO

• Premium & Goat Minimum Trading Days: 5 profitable trading days with at least 0.5% profit of the account balance each day
• Hero Minimum Trading Days: 6 profitable trading days with at least 0.5% profit of the account balance each day

Max Floating Loss Rule

• Goat: Your account will be permanently closed if floating losses reach -2% of your balance at any time.
• Premium and Hero: Your account will be permanently closed if floating losses reach -1% of your balance at any time

GOAT BLITZ

• Available for a limited time randomly on two weekends every month, offering traders a quick path to funding.

Minimum Trading Days

• Evaluation & Funded: 5 profitable trading days of at least 0.5% profit each day

Instant Hero

• Payout Frequency: Bi-weekly
• Profit Split: 90% | 100% with Add-on

Instant Premium

• Payout Frequency: 10 days

• Payout Frequency: Bi-weekly
• Profit Split: 80%, 100% with Add-on

1 Step, 2 Step Goat, 2-Step Standard & Goat Blitz

• Payout Frequency: Bi-weekly
• Profit Split: 80% | 100% with Add-on

First Reward on Demand (Add-On)

• First payout on-demand at a 40% profit split, with the 3% minimum profit and minimum profitable trading day requirements still applying. The 100% Profit Split add-on does not change the 40% split on the first reward.

Drawdown Reset

• The maximum loss limit resets after each payout. Applicable to accounts with trailing drawdown

Maximum Payout

• First two payouts are limited to 6% of initial balance or $10k (whichever is lower), with no limits after that. Applies to All Programs
• Exception: For $5k Two-Step Goat & Standard accounts, the cap is 4% of the initial account balance instead of 6%. This applies only to accounts purchased from July 25th, 2026 onward.

Minimum payout

• $100

Rewards processing Fees

• All rewards are subject to a 3% processing fee. The fee is calculated on the final reward amount after applying the applicable profit split and any deductions

Payout Methods and Limits

• Rise: No Limit
• Bank Transfer: Max $10,000 per payout
• Skrill: $5,000 per payout
• Crypto: $4,000 per payout

Note: Bank transfer payouts available in Kenya, South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, Côte d'Ivoire, Tanzania, Cameroon and Ghana only

SCALING PLAN

Assessment Based Accounts Scaling Plan

• Level 1: +15% capital, 90% profit split after 2 months & 4 payouts | DLL & MLL increases by 1%.

• Level 2: +30% capital, 90% profit split, weekly payouts after 4 months & 6 payouts | DLL & MLL increases by 2%.

• Level 3: +40% capital, 92% profit split, monthly salary ($300–$500), weekly payouts, free challenge after 5 months & 10 payouts | DLL & MLL increases by 3%.

• Level 4 (GOAT Trader): +50% capital, 95% profit split, monthly salary ($300–$500), free challenge after 6 months & 15 payouts | DLL & MLL increases by 4%.

• Scaling is based on the original account size, even if accounts are merged.
