Top One Trader has announced the launch of a new 1-Step Amped evaluation program alongside updates to its existing 2-Step Amped rules. The changes affect trading requirements, permitted trading conditions, and minimum trading day thresholds across both programs.
What Happened
Top One Trader introduced a new 1-Step Amped program as an alternative evaluation path, while also updating key rules for its existing 2-Step Amped structure.
According to the firm, the launch of the 1-Step program was driven by trader demand for a simplified evaluation model.

- Minimum trading days updated for Funded: 5 days at 1%
Previously, minimum trading requirements were set at 3 days of 0.5%, and news trading and weekend holding were permitted on funded accounts.
Effective Date
- April 13, 2026
Why This Matters
This update introduces an additional evaluation pathway while also tightening certain trading conditions within the existing 2-Step Amped program, particularly at the funded stage.
Impact on Traders
For traders, the update introduces:
- A new 1-Step evaluation option with defined profit targets and drawdown limits
- Increased minimum trading day requirements across both programs
- New restrictions on news trading and weekend holding for funded 2-Step accounts
Traders using or considering Top One Trader programs should review the updated rules carefully, particularly around trading restrictions and minimum trading day requirements.
Prop Firm Match Perspective
Program launches combined with rule changes can significantly alter trading conditions across both evaluation and funded stages. Traders considering Top One Trader's Amped programs should review the updated terms in full and ensure they understand the new trading restrictions and requirements before starting or continuing their journey.
Prop Firm Match will update its Top One Trader profile to reflect these changes.
