After I submitted my payout request, Goat Funded Trader’s compliance team contacted me saying their backend showed my account had activity from 7 different IP addresses in countries including India, Germany, Italy, South Africa, the UK, Cyprus, and Nigeria. They suggested this could mean unauthorized access or account sharing, which I clearly denied, because I traded the account myself. Instead of simply reviewing the payout based on clear evidence, they told me I needed to provide “concrete proof” to justify or “upgrade” the payout request, including things like travel documents or VPN/VPS usage history, even though I said I did not share the account. The payout was effectively put on hold, and I was warned that if I did not provide documentation they considered sufficient, further action could be taken under their Terms of Service.

The lack of transparency in the payout review process is the biggest concern. My payout was denied twice with reasons that were not clearly explained or supported with proper evidence. Additionally, the rules related to violations, such as device usage, were not clearly communicated upfront, which creates confusion for traders. Honestly, what I like most is the no time limit on the challenge. I can trade at my own pace without stressing about deadlines or rushing bad trades just to hit a target by a certain date. Combined with the super clean dashboard that shows everything clearly—profits, drawdown, calendar—it's chill and makes it easy to stay consistent. Payouts being fast is a nice bonus too, but that freedom to build slowly is the biggest win for me starting out.
The only thing I like the least is that sometimes the spreads widen a tiny bit more during super volatile news events than I'd prefer, but honestly it's not a big deal and happens with most firms. Everything else has been spot on—no real gripes.
