What I like most about Lark Funding is the simplicity and transparency of their rules. There are no hidden rules, which gives me confidence as a trader because I know exactly what is expected from me. I also appreciate that there are no news-trading restrictions. Although I personally don't trade news, having that flexibility is a big advantage. Most importantly, I really like the static daily drawdown and maximum drawdown. This suits my trading strategy very well and allows me to focus on managing my trades and risk without constantly worrying about changing drawdown levels. Overall, the rules are straightforward, transparent and very trader-friendly — exactly what I look for in a prop firm.
The only thing I would say I like least is that MT5 is not currently available. I have used MT5 extensively and would definitely appreciate having it as an option. That said, I have actually grown to really like the Match-Trader platform. It has been very useful for me, especially when it comes to calculating and managing my risk accurately before entering a trade. So while I would still love to see MT5 added in the future, Match-Trader has definitely been a pleasant surprise and has worked well for my trading style.

The trading terms are very favorable and great; I opened an account as part of the 3-year promotion. Being able to reset the account when the balance drops by 5% is truly fantastic. It’s great to work with you.
After the phases are over, it takes a while for the actual bill to arrive. I would have expected it to be an automated system.

I successfully completed a 100K 1-step challenge and was eventually given a funded account, which I worked hard to achieve over several weeks. However, my funded account was later breached due to exceeding the reset limit on the evaluation account. The main issue is that the reset feature remained fully accessible and functional throughout the process, even after the limit had been reached. The evaluation process was straightforward, the platform was easy to use, and support generally responded in a timely manner. I also appreciated the active community and the owner's involvement in Discord discussions. The challenge itself felt achievable for disciplined traders.
The biggest issue was the disconnect between what the platform technically allowed and what was later enforced manually. If a feature is no longer permitted, it should be disabled or accompanied by a clear warning. I was also disappointed that the issue was discovered only after I had passed the evaluation and received a funded account, rather than being flagged immediately. Better transparency and real-time enforcement would have prevented the entire situation.

Hi David, Thank you for your review. I want to start by acknowledging your point regarding the platform interface: you are right. Our system should automatically block the reset button once a user has reached the maximum limit of three resets. We are aware of this limitation and agree that the dashboard should reflect these hard limits in real-time to avoid any confusion. However, a rule is still a rule. The strict limit of three resets is clearly outlined on our website and in our terms. While the software technically allowed you to click the button, you were still responsible for following the publicly posted trading rules. When our risk team manually audited your evaluation, they caught the violation. This is standard procedure, which is exactly why your funded account was breached and revoked within minutes of being processed. We cannot and will not relax our hard-defined risk parameters and make an exception for you simply because the automated system block wasn't in place. We hold all our traders to the exact same standards. Regarding your attempts to contact me directly on Discord and via email: as a rapidly growing prop firm, it is completely unrealistic to expect a personalized, direct response from the CEO for every individual account dispute. Just as you wouldn't expect the CEO of other major prop firms or financial institutions to personally email you back when you have an account issue, I rely on my dedicated support team to manage these cases. That being said, I was fully briefed on your situation as it was happening and ensured that our team handled it promptly and by the book. The rules are clear, they have fast and constructive communication, and payouts are handled fast. Genuinely never had any problems with them!
I think the 10k per trade/day rule could be altered a bit to accommodate swing traders, hopefully they will do this at some point because then it would be the perfect prop firm in my view. That being said, these rules are stated clearly before purchase, and even with this rule in place as is they are already in my top 2 firms that I have worked with.
