I recently passed a 10k challenge with this firm as an American in the United States. We have to use the web trader and this is horrible and lagging especially if you’re trading mobile like I was. I placed my first trade and I was automatically liquidated way before my stoploss was hit and my account was closed due to daily loss breach. 10k account daily 5% loss I was liquidated at -$378. Actually nothing, I continued forward with passing the test because I paid for it and it’s no refunds so I figured I’d just make my money back. Out of all the firms I’ve traded with this one was my biggest mistake.
Their risk system is glitchy. Their risk team doesn’t understand their system all the way. Incompetent with their own system and customer service sucks in resolving errors on their part. The one side betting rule is horrible! You can not just be a bull or bear. That is ridiculous.

Summary
I took my first trade, with a stop loss below my daily loss limit. My trade was liquidated before my stop loss was hit due to an error in their system. My balance was $10,055.05 percent daily loss limit. I was liquidated at $378 My account was closed for daily loss limit breach As you can see that is incorrect I did not breach my daily loss limit I reached out to customer service Anita confirm that I did not breach my daily loss limit and did not understand why my account was deactivated She forwarded my issue to the risk team and they confirm that my account shouldn’t have been deactivated and they told me the reason why it was a system error. Instead of resetting my account, they reactivated the account with that loss that they liquidated I complained about resetting the account to the original balance, and they replied with further investigation that my account did reach the daily loss limit. Nothing on my dashboard reflected that. They gave me a balance that I do not have on my dashboard and a threshold that I did not reach on my dashboard I don’t know where that screenshot number comes from but it was not mine. My balance was $10,055. They told me that my balance was $10,188. When you look at my conversation with customer service, they confirmed that my starting balance is 10,055. They close my account again with no reflection of anything I did wrong in my dashboard

i have used many firms but as the other firms are increasing the rules and limiting the potential of traders The5ers are the best for their drawdown and for risk per trade idea. I have just received the payout above 1800 USD the process was very smooth and just in one day its received.

Even though the risk team terminated my account, I still believe they have one of the best risk teams in the prop firm industry, and also the customer service is really professional and helpful.

Summary
my account was terminated simply because the credit card I used—an ether.fi card—was issued outside my country of residence (I am from Taiwan). Even after I provided full, undeniable evidence proving that I am the sole owner of the card, The5ers still severed our business relationship. Furthermore, their explicit rules state that the payment method must belong to the account holder; there is no restriction prohibiting the use of credit cards issued in other jurisdictions.

I have been 3 years in trading. But i have move from others firm to the 5ers. When i do that i didn't expect anything like this. Customer support, risk issues, fast to give the funded account, almost 0 spread on EU and GU that prevent me from stopout 3-4 trades. All in all i won't regret by choosing this prop.
