EDIT SEPTEMBER 2026 - PAYOUT DENIAL & FALSE POSITIVE BAN: I am a 3-year historical client managing 3 funded accounts with 5 successful past payouts. Upon requesting my 6th payout (only €1,400), my dashboard and accounts (Accounts: 2917875, 2746174, 2871744) were suddenly frozen due to a massive automated 'shared CID' false positive caused by NordVPN [a. I have provided absolute, unassailable technical evidence via email directly from my local MT5 terminal logs (.txt/ZIP) proving my unique hardware (Intel i7-13700F, 31GB RAM) under a single local station . I’ve been with Alpha Capital since 2025. I wasn’t funded at the time, but I finally became funded this year. Based on my own experience, I can confidently say that they can be trusted when it comes to paying traders. I received my payout in just two days, and that experience made me appreciate Alpha Capital even more. I genuinely really like this prop firm.

I am updating my review because the situation has become even more concerning. I have now had four payout requests rejected by this firm. The first two payouts were rejected because they claimed I had not completed the required 5 trading days. I disagreed with that interpretation, but I continued trading in order to satisfy the requirement they communicated. After that, instead of processing the payout, they rejected it again under a completely different allegation: “reverse trading” between my accounts. What makes this even more serious is that the compliance email they sent me appears to reference account numbers that are different from my actual accounts. My actual accounts are: 2837105 2837106 However, in the compliance analysis they sent me, they referred to: 2817906 2817967 This is a major issue because they are accusing me of prohibited trading activity and refusing a payout based on evidence that, according to the account numbers stated in their own email, does not even appear to correspond to my accounts. I also reviewed the trading histories of my actual accounts. They clearly show that I was repeatedly taking the same directional trades on both accounts, often within seconds of each other. For example, on multiple trading days, both accounts were simultaneously SELL NAS100, and on other occasions both accounts were simultaneously BUY NAS100. This is completely inconsistent with the idea that I was systematically using one account to hedge or reverse trade against the other. Their entire accusation appears to rely on a very short alleged overlap of 18 seconds, while ignoring the broader trading history showing repeated same-direction exposure across both accounts. So the sequence is now: First payout rejected: “not enough trading days.” Second payout rejected: again related to the 5 trading-day requirement. Later payout rejected: suddenly accused of “reverse trading.” Compliance evidence then references different account numbers from my actual accounts. This raises very serious concerns for me regarding the consistency and quality of their compliance review. I have asked them for a full manual review by a senior compliance manager, including verification of the correct account numbers, the complete trading history, and the actual trades taken across both accounts. I am sharing this experience because traders should be aware of what can happen when requesting payouts. I have no issue with a firm enforcing clear rules, but if a company rejects payouts, the reasons and evidence should be accurate, consistent, and linked to the correct accounts. At this stage, after four rejected payouts and changing explanations, I consider the handling of my case extremely unprofessional. I will update this review again if the company conducts a proper manual review and provides a clear explanation or resolves the matter.

Summary

I have now had 4 payout requests rejected by this firm. The first two were rejected because they claimed I had not completed the required 5 trading days. After I continued trading and met that requirement, they changed the reason and accused me of reverse trading. However, the compliance email they sent references account numbers that are different from my actual accounts. My real accounts are 2837105 and 2837106, but their analysis refers to 2817906 and 2817967. I also reviewed my actual trading history, and it shows that I was repeatedly taking the same directional trades on both accounts. Their accusation appears to rely on a very brief 18-second overlap, while ignoring the overall trading behavior. I have therefore requested a full manual review by senior compliance. After four rejected payouts and changing explanations, I consider the handling of my case extremely unprofessional.

the challenge conditions are pretty good for the 2 step account. I was denied payout twice because apparently opening a smaller lot trade to get by minimum trading days was not allowed and I was emailed a list of rules. also after the risk interview I was put in a risk group where my leverage was reduced. but anyways when i complied with their rules I was given payout. that made me happy.

Alpha Capital Group Terminated My 2-Year 200k Funded Account to Avoid Paying a $5,000 Payout: After more than 2 years with Alpha Capital Group, during which I’ve maintained a single $200K funded account and received multiple payouts, I’m now being terminated over what I believe is an entirely baseless IP violation. Over the past 3 months, getting payouts has become increasingly difficult, with repeated excuses, rejections, delays, and non-answers. This time, I was told: “During our routine compliance monitoring, we detected that your account has been accessed from the same IP address by a different account. This constitutes a direct violation of our IP rule policy.” I have only ever had one Alpha Capital account, have never traded another account with them, and trade entirely by myself. The only “evidence” they provided was a screenshot showing some Outlook email activity associated with an IP address that I may have logged into once sometime in 2024. No meaningful documentation, no identification of the supposed other account, and no explanation of how this supposedly proves that I traded another account. I was waiting on a $5,000 payout that had already been delayed for over a month. After more than two years as a consistently profitable client, this is how they chose to handle it. At this point, I have serious concerns that Alpha Capital is simply looking for reasons to deny legitimate payouts. The excuses and scrutiny have escalated to the point where even long-term profitable traders with a single account are having their payouts rejected. If you're a new trader or you're currently trying to pass one of their challenges, you may not see this side of the company yet. Passing a challenge is one thing. Actually getting paid consistently is another. My experience over the past few months has completely changed my view of Alpha Capital Group. They are going downhill fast. Be extremely careful with them.

My payout of 6.5k$ was rejected due to a violation of max lot size. To cut the story short, this account was accused under the 1% risk management group where the max lot size of a 50k funded account was 5 and I got trades that were executed of 7 lot sizes twice where hereto caused the reason for payout rejection and account closure. My concern is as I have went with deeper conversation with the payments team, I know that this account was lifted out of 1% group restrictions, I just accidentally deleted the confirmation email about it. As they checked, they told me that I was notified on May 21st that my account was back again at 1% risk group parameters. Which I didn't received an email because if I received it, I would likely be open for another conversation. But let's just say that they really emailed me about this matter, the other one crucial concern is this: They also found out that my account was lifted from the restriction on May 19th (which is I'm confidently right) and went back again on May 21st. How did it happen while I didn't have any executed trades during those days??? The only days where I executed trades for the whole month of May was on May 22nd (473$ loss) and May 26th (315$ loss)? Please see attached files below. How come they lifted the restrictions of this account and put it back again on the days where I didn't execute any trades without any proper reason? Look sir, I've been in a risk management group for a very long whole time since December 2025 and I really know how it works. I know that I am confident that my account was lifted of this restriction, giving me confidence to put lot sizes above my usual lot sizes (maximum of 5). You can see it on any of my executed trades. These lapses are the reason for my denied payout.

I’ve been trading with Alpha Capital for over 3 years, and until recently my experience has been nothing but positive. I’ve learnt a lot throughout my trading journey, and Alpha has played a huge part in that. I have a lot of respect for A***, who has always been supportive, and I’ve also learnt a great deal from G**** through the 1:1 sessions I previously had with him. Their support and guidance have been invaluable. My only frustration is with customer support. Recently I’ve been trying to get clarification on certain rules, but I haven’t felt I’ve received clear answers to my questions. I also had a recent payout adjusted for a reason I don’t personally agree with, as the trades that were flagged were consistent with the way I have always traded. I was hoping for a clearer explanation rather than receiving generic responses. Despite this, Alpha will always be my number one prop firm. It’s the company where I started my journey, and I’m genuinely grateful for everything I’ve learnt over the past three years. I just hope communication and clarity around these decisions can be improved, as I believe it would make a big difference to long term traders like myself

The people. A*** has always been approachable and supportive throughout my trading journey, and I’ve learnt a great deal from G**** during the 1:1 mentoring sessions I had many years ago. Alpha was the first prop firm I traded with, and for over three years my overall experience has been positive.

Least Liked Aspect

The lack of transparency around certain rule interpretations. I felt the reasoning behind my payout denial wasn’t explained clearly, making it difficult to understand how the decision was reached.

Alleged gambling / Gambling

Summary

My payout was denied because Alpha Capital stated that some of my trades were initiated shortly before high-impact news and closed shortly afterwards, which they deemed speculative under their gambling policy. I respectfully disagree with this decision, as these trades were consistent with my normal trading style over the past three years. I respected the 2 minute news window. I respect the 1% cooling window and I’ve held my trades for longer than 2 minutes. Despite this being told I’m gambling doesn’t sit right with me. This experience has caused me to be fearful when executing trades. I asked for further clarification but did not feel I received a clear explanation of how the decision was reached. While I respect the firm’s right to enforce its rules, I believe this particular decision was unfair and lacked sufficient transparency.

My second payout this year—$1,603 on funded account 2801503—was denied on 13 August 2026, and the account was removed. ACG’s reason was an alleged breach of its Maximum Lot / exposure restriction on US500. I consider the outcome unfair because I had specifically disclosed and received approval to use a Risk Management EA for position sizing, received no warning at either alleged instance, and was only told of the issue during payout review after the trading had already taken place. The EA was not a signal-generating or autonomous trading bot. I made every trading decision myself. It calculated position size from the monetary risk I selected and the distance to my visible stop loss. On 19 February 2026, ACG stated in writing that if I used the approved Risk Management EA exclusively and did not operate other bots, there would be “no issues” with my account. ACG then specifically approved the same Risk Management EA for account 2801503 on 8 July 2026. This was therefore not approval of an unrelated utility. It was approval of the risk-management method I used to calculate position size. The US500 trade cited by ACG represented approximately $147, or 1.47% risk, rather than uncontrolled risk. Yet ACG’s position was that EA approval only permitted use of the EA and did not affect the Maximum Lot rule. The Maximum Lot rule is particularly problematic when applied across different asset classes. A single lot figure is not a consistent measure of risk across forex, indices, metals and other instruments. Contract sizes, tick values, volatility, margin requirements and stop-loss distances differ substantially. A trader using a fixed monetary-risk method can require a different number of lots on US500 than on another instrument while risking the same small percentage of the account. A blanket lot cap can therefore make an index effectively untradeable at normal position sizing, despite controlled monetary risk. In my case, the alleged Maximum Lot restriction was not presented to me as a clear, active, account-specific limit on the trading dashboard. There was no visible real-time monitor, warning, or hard block when ACG says the rule was breached. ACG identified two alleged instances retrospectively during payout review. I received no warning at either time, but both were treated as hard breaches resulting in the loss of the payout and closure of the funded account. That is a serious due-process problem. If a rule is important enough to remove a funded account and deny a payout, it should be clearly disclosed before trading, shown on the dashboard, monitored in real time, and accompanied by an immediate warning or trading restriction. A firm should not wait until a trader requests a payout to identify a supposedly serious breach and impose the maximum consequence without prior notice. I exchanged 13 emails with ACG about this matter, followed by a 36-minute call with Louie, ACG’s Head of Client Support. The call essentially repeated the official position already stated in writing: the responsibility was placed entirely on me, while ACG did not accept responsibility for the specific EA approval, the prior written assurance, the lack of dashboard visibility, or the absence of warnings at the time of the alleged breaches. My ratings reflect this experience: Customer care — 1 star: Responses were relatively prompt, but ACG did not take ownership of the approval, unclear communication, or lack of warnings. Trading conditions — 1 star: A maximum-lot rule applied across different asset classes is not an adequate measure of risk unless it is supported by clear examples, instrument-specific limits and a transparent explanation of how it interacts with position sizing and stop losses. Dashboard — 1 star: The dashboard did not show the applicable maximum-lot limit, available remaining capacity, or a warning when ACG says the rule was breached. Credentials and payout — 1 star: A $1,603 payout was denied and the funded account removed after ACG had approved the Risk Management EA used for the position-sizing method. Overall — 1 star: The issue was not simply a disagreement over a rule. It was the combination of prior approval, unclear cross-asset application of a lot-based rule, no real-time monitoring or warning, and retrospective enforcement at payout stage.

What I liked most: The static, balance-based Daily Loss and Maximum Loss limits. Unlike an equity-trailing drawdown, the limits were predictable and gave me a fixed risk framework to plan trades around. I also found the evaluation structure and ability to trade forex, indices and metals broadly suitable for my style.

Least Liked Aspect

What I liked least: The handling of the Maximum Lot rule and payout review. A single lot cap is not a consistent measure of risk across forex, indices and metals because contract sizes, tick values, volatility and stop-loss distances differ. The rule was not shown as an active account-specific dashboard limit or accompanied by a real-time warning. Despite ACG’s prior approval of my Risk Management EA for position sizing, two alleged instances were identified only retrospectively during payout review and treated as hard breaches, leading to denial of a $1,603 payout and removal of the account. Customer support responded, but did not accept responsibility for the unclear rule application, EA approval, or lack of warning.

Alleged breach of Maximum Lot Size / exposure rule on US500

Summary

ACG denied my $1,603 payout on 13 August 2026 and removed funded account 2801503, saying it had identified two Maximum Lot / exposure breaches on US500 during payout review. I received no dashboard alert, real-time block or warning when either instance occurred. Before the trades, ACG had approved my Risk Management EA in writing on 19 February 2026 and specifically approved it for account 2801503 on 8 July 2026. I chose every trade myself; the EA only calculated position size from my selected monetary risk and stop-loss distance. ACG later said EA approval did not override the Maximum Lot rule. My concern is that a single lot cap is not a consistent measure of risk across forex, indices and metals, and the applicable limit was not visible as an active account-specific dashboard rule. I consider retrospective enforcement at payout stage, without warning, unfair.

Extremely Disappointed – Funded Account Denied After 3 Months and 13 Challenge Purchases Hi fellow traders, I want to share my experience with Alpha Capital Group so everyone can make their own informed decision. Over the last 3 months, I purchased 13 separate $10,000 accounts, spending approximately $520 in challenge fees (13 × $40). I breached 11 accounts, and of course Alpha had no issue taking those fees. Yesterday, I finally passed my Pro Account (Account ID: 2788484) after putting in significant time, effort, and discipline. Instead of receiving a congratulations email, I received an email stating that my account had been denied due to alleged "spamming of the order book." The evidence provided? Four small USDJPY trades. Just four. After months of trading, multiple failed accounts, and hundreds of dollars spent on challenges, I find it extremely difficult to understand how four low-volume orders can justify denying a funded account entirely. What makes this even more frustrating is that I currently have another Swing Account in Phase 2 with approximately $250 profit, requiring only another $250 to pass. Given the treatment I have already received, I have very little confidence that this account will be treated fairly either. As traders, we accept losses, failed challenges, and strict rules. What we don't expect is to successfully pass an evaluation and then have the goalposts moved afterwards based on what appears to be an extremely questionable interpretation of the rules. The reality is that I paid for 13 accounts, failed 11 of them, and only when I finally succeeded was I told that I would not receive a funded account. I feel completely let down and deeply disappointed by the way this has been handled. To anyone considering purchasing an account, I strongly encourage you to read the rules carefully and understand that even after passing, there may be further reviews that can ultimately prevent you from receiving a funded account. This has been one of the most disappointing experiences I have had with any prop firm.
