Retroactive Violation After Approved Payout
Summary
I completed my payout cycle at Blueberry Funded, submitted the request, and my payout was approved the next day. One week later, Risk applied a breach using trades from the previous (already approved and paid-out) cycle. I asked for clarification because this is different from how most funded firms handle session reviews. The official response I received was that: A payout approval does not finalize or close a cycle Risk can review any past trades at any time Trades from a completed, approved, and paid-out session can still be used later to breach a new session The “session date” in breach emails refers to the review date, not the trading date This was surprising, and I only wish the rules explained this clearly from the start. The staff were polite, but the policy itself is very confusing for traders. I recommend new traders be aware that payout approval does not mean your session is fully cleared.

I’m extremely disappointed with the way this company handles its rules and customer relations. After receiving a message from them stating: “a violation is still a violation… the previous payout was a goodwill exception… similar behavior will not be tolerated… future violations may result in denied payouts or account closures without exceptions”, it became clear that they use their “Trading-Style Rules” however and whenever it benefits them. Instead of providing fair treatment or transparent communication, they hide behind vague rule interpretations. They paid out once, admitted they made an exception, and then used that as a way to threaten future payouts—even though nothing was clearly explained beforehand. This feels like a tactic to avoid paying traders while placing all blame on the user, regardless of context. If a rule was truly so important, it should have been enforced consistently, not selectively. I can’t recommend this firm to anyone who values honesty, clarity, or fair treatment. There are much better, more transparent prop firms out there that don’t punish traders for their own inconsistencies.

The complete lack of transparency and fairness. They terminated my account right after I earned a significant payout, claimed “multi-account hedging” without providing a single piece of evidence, and refused to re-audit or even show basic proof. Their support repeatedly closed conversations without resolving anything, ignored my willingness to cooperate, and hid behind generic compliance statements. Overall, the firm feels unreliable and unwilling to honor payouts when traders perform well.
