Finotive Funding Reviews AI Summary

Traders consistently praise Finotive's transparent dashboard, which displays real-time metrics and rule compliance, helping users track progress without hidden surprises. The static drawdown on instant accounts, clear rules with a strike system instead of immediate breaches, and fast payout approvals (often instant for first withdrawals) earn frequent mentions. I owe part of my success in trading to Finotive Funding dating back to when they had the RTP rules where you could only risk less than50% of your daily limit. It later became a habit to risk less than 1% at any time. I applied the same on my other accounts as well as my live one. that was key to my success and made me hold my accounts for longer times and make consistent profits. Apart from that, trading conditions at finotive are one of the best i had and the payout approvals came thru in less than 24hrs. Thanks FF

I usually don't write reviews but this firm more than deserves it. I've been trading with Finotive Funding since the start of this year 2024. And oh Boy, this must be the best propfirm out there. Hear me out.. Unlike other propfirms that lost their MetaQuotes license, have had major payout issues, always come up with excuses.. Finotive has always been stable, standing and transparant with their customers. Assuring us that there won't be issues on their end as all legalities were done correctly since the start. Major green flag. I've had the privilege to receive multiple payouts from Finotive already. They were never a day late, always correct and just having the peace of mind that a company will pay you out when following the policies, brings such peace of mind. There are no hidden rules, unlike other firms and are very responsive on e-mail as well as their discord. Major green flag. I'm pre-dominantly a US100 trader and GBPUSD trader. At the start of 2024 I was not 100% satisfied with the spreads for these pairs, but as time passed, Finotive listening to their customers, they found a new partner that improved the trading experience drastically! As a scalper, spreads play a huge role in trading and the fact they took these concerns seriously and changed their partner for their CUSTOMERS says a lot. I respect that. A company that actually listens to their customers and does the necessary things in order to satisfy them. Green flag. If you were on the fence or hesitating about this firm, please do that no more. I believe Finotive with their own broker, payroll system and responsive team is here to stay. Thanks for everything Finotive. P.S. They pay out WEEKLY, what else do you want?

I'M TIRED! I spent all my savings on them and simply every time I pass phase 2, they reject it. Their reasons made me not sure whether they were legit. Can you imagine? The reason of the last refusal of my phase 2 account was that I didn't use stop-losses in more than 50% of my trades, while I never use stop-losses and they accepted my phase 1 while I never used stop-losses YOU KNOW WHAT'S MORE? They don't have a stop-loss rule, the stop-loss isn't mandatory.

Dear Amr,

Thank you for sharing your experience so openly. We’re truly sorry to hear how frustrating this situation has been for you, especially considering the time, effort, and financial commitment involved.

We would like to provide some additional context. While the use of a stop-loss is not a mandatory rule on its own, our evaluations focus on overall risk management and trading behaviour across the full trading period. This means that aspects such as how risk is controlled and managed over time are also taken into account as part of the broader assessment framework.

We understand that this can feel inconsistent, particularly if a previous phase was completed under similar conditions. Each phase, however, is assessed independently based on the behaviour observed during that specific cycle.

We also take your concerns regarding clarity and expectations seriously. Feedback like yours is important and helps us continue improving how we communicate these aspects more transparently.

Your case has been reviewed by our Risk Team, and we would genuinely like to support you further. If you’re open to it, please reach out again (support@finotivefunding.com) so we can go through your situation together and provide any additional clarity you may need.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

First of all, I work as a risk analyst. The only reasons I went with them is the rule set for their 2-step and 2-step pro, given I’m sure a lot of people lose their payouts due to risk & SL limits, so I assume their payout ratio is low and they could afford paying me, as long as I respect these. 1. The accusation Attached will be the e-mail screenshots, however I’ll point the reasons they used. Executing disproportionately large position sizes immediately after drawdowns in an apparent attempt to recover losses via a single high-risk gain; Engaging in trading activity that no rational, self-funded trader would consider if managing real capital with accountability. Those, and Allegedly Over-Leveraging, having 6 accounts in total, out of which only 1 had been passed (already false, due to 1 being breached after I requested refund, not even traded on it) This was used in a try to highlight me “hitting the jackpot”. Besides, the lifespan of the accounts are also a point they brought up. My reply Screenshots with this will also be attached, for full transparency. I have fighted every single accusation they put on the table, however on an arrogant tone, which I don’t regret using. I have explained how everything they said is misleading, just like biased news companies will formulate the same data to look better in their advantage and not the opposite party. Explaining simply how all their claims, if real, should’ve come forward as soon as my first payout, not after all of the small ones that were paid. For this, we’ll go through their detailed review of my “recent trading activity” – 2 months PRIOR the payout denial btw They are the ones that fully ALLOW this, based on their rules and discord support. Open notional exposure has nothing to do with actual risk on the table, which I also told them in my reply, because it does NOT count the asset volatility. Just as I told them, this isn’t the most accurate metric to measure risk, while a different one that considers the volatility of the instrument would be, but of course, they use whatever is in their favour. To help you understand why this is wrong, having a position of $10M notional volume on an asset with 1% volatility over the last trading month is the same risk exposure as a $20M notional volume position on the same asset with 0.5% volatility over the same period of time. They already counted for this in their min SL rule, which is a lot size limit under different wording. It goes by 14-days ATR, so if gold undergoes a higher volatility period, the min SL value will increase, further limiting your max lot size lower than the previous period. However, even with 1.25% risk/position limit AND lot size limit, seems like they are not happy with the risk limits that.. THEY impose. Again, this is a problem that should not be any of the trader’s job, it’s in their risk department’s job to regularly review the limits to fit the risk exposure they are happy with, which is pretty easy to calculate. The 2nd part of their detail review : 1 of them was refunded, the 50k one was old, doesn’t have anything to do with my recent activity. So, across my recent trading activity, I actually had only 4 of them. Apparently, having 4 challenges, reaching 1 funded and $40k in payouts is “hitting the jackpot”, with it not being consistent with normal or genuine trading behavior. A prop firm with same DD&PT rules will often see a pass ratio of below 20% across ALL clients, ALL account sizes, WITHOUT the risk rules these guys have. I’d assume theirs isn’t even half of that. That being said, I am clearly a deviation from that number, passing one of the 4 challenges I actually tried. With the payouts, I would’ve been at 20% withdrawn profit, which is again, over the limits for ANY prop. This is not anywhere in line with the average, and of course no firm would like a trader with a huge payout ratio and such consistency on funded. Also, they consider the value of a challenge to be the same of a funded one, or at least it seems like by their phrasing. If so, I will gladly like to pay 700$ and some change for a funded 200k, given you talk about challenges and fundeds as they’re the same. More on this was said in my reply to them, which will be attached. Points they made besides the two presented in the detailed review “The trading activity on your account demonstrates a consistent pattern of toxic, high-risk behaviour clearly designed to manipulate the structural vulnerabilities of the prop trading model for personal gain.” The consistent pattern being…? I have deviated a LOT from the average customer that reaches even a payout. That’s the pattern. If I would’ve had the same activity, but only withdrew 500$, there wouldn’t have been ANY issue with the payout going through. “Executing disproportionately large position sizes immediately after drawdowns in an apparent attempt to recover losses via a single high-risk gain;“ Disproportionately large position sizes with those risk rules? Again, this is fully under their control and they know what the limit is for every single tradeable instrument at ANY TIME. If not, I can help you, Oliver, with a formula so you know your maximum daily exposure based on current funded sizing, it will only cost my full payout and a $50k bonus. You already have my mail. “Engaging in trading activity that no rational, self-funded trader would consider if managing real capital with accountability.” Everyone trades different. You have no idea how I trade real capital, but I can ensure you don’t want any of that activity on any funded account active with you. “This behaviour does not reflect genuine trading skill or risk-managed strategy, it is a direct abuse of our systems and terms, and we view it as a hostile act against our firm and its operations.” So, getting to 8 payouts or so from the same account isn’t skill. Got it! However, blowing 20 challenges would be great skill you want to keep close. So on with getting small payouts, preferably below the total amount spent by the customer. Misleading marketing and support They claim all rules to be tracked in the dashboard. They claim instant payouts, instant passes. First of all, I had to do : Enhanced KYC + compliance call (reviewed by risk) upon my first payout request. That was, I can assure you, NOT instant. It was all great then, when I wasn’t waiting for 16k, and only a quarter or so of that amount. This should make you raise an eyebrow on how they reviewed my activity up to that point + the interview but at that point it wasn’t overleveraging, it became over-leveraging only when I requested the large payouts. “No payout delays”, totally false. I waited weeks just to have these 2 denied. “No mystery rules.”, if you read everything to this point, you’ll know this is as well false. “Experience speed and precision like never before. Thanks to our fully automated system and proprietary in-house payroll solution, payouts are now approved and credited within seconds, instantly available through Finotive Pay. Cutting-edge technology built to keep up with high-performance traders.” They meant within weeks, I’ll apologize for that. Seems like they needed weeks to find a reason to deny. “And the best part? Experience clarity and confidence with fully automated rules shown directly in your dashboard, no digging, no guessing. Everything you need is built right in, giving traders the transparency they deserve.” Again, totally false. It is all automated unless you want more than a few grand. This can go on and on without any issue, everything they brag about is purely false unless you’re only making a few bucks. Final points They have blocked my access to dashboard, so I can not pull any history / proof. However, I have done a recording just a bit before getting the mail, so I can provide all of it upon request. Also, there are more traders in my situation. Will as well post some of them. BESIDES THE ABOVE : They have muted me on discord as soon as the denial mail was sent on the general chat and deleted those messages, in an effort to hide their action. ALL screenshots will be attached in this review, if not possible, all the proof is to be found in the following post : https://x.com/fxvlaad/status/1938881237281538281

Dear Vlad,

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback and perspective, we appreciate it.

We understand that situations like this can be particularly frustrating, especially when you approach trading with a structured risk mindset and clear expectations around the rules.

As outlined in our Terms & Conditions and mentioned in our communication with you, all accounts are assessed holistically. This means that beyond individual trade compliance, we also evaluate how risk is applied over time, including the relationship between drawdowns and subsequent exposure.

While individual positions may fall within defined limits, certain patterns, such as a significant shift in position sizing following losses, can lead to a behavioural assessment under our framework.

We recognise that, from an individual trading perspective, this may be interpreted differently. At the same time, our evaluations are applied consistently across all accounts to ensure a fair and sustainable environment for all participants.

A detailed explanation of the assessment has already been provided by our Risk Team. Should you wish to follow up further, we remain available to support.

I have passed two second phase 100K accounts but Finotive rejected both funded accounts due to the fact that I had funded accounts with them in the past which I lost due to maximum drawdown. Finotive told me that they can't A-book me due to my bad track record, so they are denying my both funded accounts and banning me from future purchases. Meanwhile, I had my last funded account five months ago, so for five long months Finotive let me spend money unnecessarily, even though they clearly knew I was not eligible for another funded account due to the bad track record. Since then, I have spent over $7,000 even though I could not get another funded account. Then came the accusation of account rolling, which is defined in their FAQ as risking a large amount of daily drawdown and hoping for a lucky trade. I was always risking 2.05%, which their risk team confirmed to me as an acceptable limit. So Finotive rejected two of my funded accounts due to the inability to A-book and account rolling. But when I asked their support afterwards, they confirmed that there are no such rules, which is clear proof that I was robbed and cheated. I tried to make a compromise with them to give me my well deserved funded accounts and ban me afterwards if they don't like my style, but their only offer was to trade with their broker, but I couldn't trust them anymore, so I refused. I am attaching all the screenshots.

Dear Vit,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience in such detail. We understand that this situation has been very frustrating, especially given the time and financial commitment you’ve made.

We would like to provide some additional context. Account evaluations, including eligibility for funded accounts, are based on a combination of factors within our risk framework, including overall trading history and behavioural patterns across accounts. These assessments are not based on a single metric, but on a broader, ongoing evaluation as outlined in our Terms & Conditions.

Regarding eligibility and account access, decisions may evolve over time as more trading data becomes available and is reviewed holistically. We understand that this can feel unclear, and your feedback highlights the importance of continuing to improve how we communicate such aspects more transparently.

With respect to behavioural classifications, these are applied based on observed trading patterns across the dataset, rather than isolated parameters such as individual risk percentages. While certain metrics may fall within acceptable ranges on their own, the overall structure and consistency of trading behaviour are also taken into account.

We also take your concerns regarding communication seriously. Any perceived inconsistencies between different support channels are not the experience we aim to provide, and this has been noted internally.

Your case has been reviewed by our Risk Team, and the decision was made in line with our internal framework. That said, we understand your perspective and the concerns you’ve raised.

If you would like to discuss your case further, we remain available and are open to reviewing any additional questions you may have.

Hi I want to share my experience with finotive funding. First of all I want to state that they're NOT SCAMMER. I, myself am a $200.000 finotive funded trader. Recently I, just requested $3733 that is 80% of $4666. The problem is, finotive stated that I violate the gambling rule because I did not put stoploss on my trade (which is not written on the agreement). Stoploss rule only apply for the instant funding. They assume I was gambling because I did not put stoploss. (I have a history of cutting losses and all of them were not even 2% of my equity on each trade. It's a 1% max, even if I don't use stoploss) Finotive decided to give my payout a 10% profit split, hence me receiving my $466 payout. The problem is, they agree and stated that Stop losses are not mandatory on positions, but it's a failure to proper risk management. So they stated that I violated the gambling rule. It is a very ambiguous.... Why don't they state that you require stoploss from the very beginning instead of letting the trade playout and take their profit when they're about to get payout? I know it's a very ambiguous thing, so I advice funded trader to be careful when trading. Also, you should ask what are the benchmark of over exposure, over leveraging, and revenge trading? How do finotive asses it? It's to avoid violating the rules (even though it's not stated) because last time the risk department did this to me.

The ambiguity of the rules. for example, It is stated in the agreement that stoploss is not a requirement on normal account, but it's a requirement for instant funding account. In my case, I did not put stoploss. But when I profit, they stated that I was gambling because I did not use stoploss. It's kind of a grey area and they took advantage of it. Hence my profit split is only 10% from 80%

Dear Isennari,

As per the emails sent to you, you were flagged due to not using a stop loss on 67 of 99 positions, thus failing to show any risk management on 70% of trades.

Whilst stop losses are not mandatory on every single position for challenge accounts, failure to use proper risk management at the scale you have shown was seen to be a breach of our Gambling Rule due to an all-or-nothing approach:

7.6. Gambling Rule - When using our services, Gambling or all-or-nothing behaviour is not permitted.

As a result of this breach, we temporarily reduced (NOT REJECTED) your profit split to 10% for this recent pay-out request in line with our terms, as we do not see it appropriate to reward trading performance which has been performed in breach of our rules. You were also advised to use stop losses where possible to show the implementation of proper risk management.

Should you show an improvement in this area between now and your next pay-out, it will be paid at the full rate.

Hope this provides some more clarity on the situation!

I had a $100,000 instant account with Finotive. On the first day of trading, I opened six sell positions, which resulted in a floating loss of approximately $600. Shortly after, all my trades were closed without violating trading rules. I submitted a ticket to the risk department but received no response. I also reached out to customer support via Telegram multiple times, yet there was no resolution. For nearly a month, they failed to provide any feedback. Furthermore, the spreads on gold are excessively high, ranging from 60 to 70 pips, while even unregulated brokers maintain spreads below 40 pips. This situation is concerning, and I am prepared to provide documentation to support my claims against this firm. I strongly advise against doing business with them.

Dear Reza,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, we understand how frustrating this situation must have been, especially when it concerns trade execution and delayed communication.

We’d like to offer some additional background on this. Trade closures can occur for a variety of reasons within the account framework, including factors related to overall exposure, margin conditions, or system-level protections. These are always applied in line with the account rules and trading environment.

That said, we fully understand the importance of receiving a timely and clear explanation. A delay of this nature is not the level of support we aim to provide, and your case has been noted internally for follow-up.

Regarding spreads, they can vary depending on market conditions, liquidity, and the instrument being traded. We understand that this can impact trading performance, and feedback like yours is continuously reviewed as part of our efforts to improve overall conditions.

We would strongly encourage you to reach out again so we can review your case in detail and provide a proper update.

We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to improve.

Best regards,
— The Finotive Funding Team
