I loved AquaFunded at first but once I've gotten funded and started trading the live account things really got ridiculous. 1. Their news rules are vague and really try to fail traders. For example, I trade Gold (XAUUSD), there was a day with an All day red news on EUR (German Prelim CPI m/m). Now because of this they claim you are not allowed to trade all day as they say these news affect the whole market and if you do they simply withdraw your profits with no prior notice. After 5 years of trading, I surely wonder how does EUR news affect Gold? ...

Our news-trading rules are designed to manage risk during periods of elevated market volatility, and they are applied consistently across all instruments, not just the directly impacted currency pairs. While we understand that traders may have different views on the scope of such rules, they are clearly stated in our terms and conditions and are part of the agreement for all funded accounts. Regarding payouts and account adjustments, these occur only when a breach of the stated rules is confirmed through trade data. We acknowledge that dashboard updates and interface changes can require adaptation, and we continue to work on improving accuracy, usability, and update speed. What impressed me most was their fairness. On my first payout, I realized I had accidentally violated some rules (news trading and a trade closed under 3 minutes). While other firms would have breached my account immediately, AquaFunded simply deducted those specific trades and processed the rest of my payout.

A fast growing prop in the industry, it has the best customer support I have experienced compared to other prop firms. With the introduction of their futures prop I feel at ease going into futures trading knowing I have AquaFunded as my prop.

The pricing is competitive and accessible compared to many other prop firms. The dashboard is well designed and makes it easy to monitor performance, risk metrics, and progress during the challenge. I also like that EAs are allowed and encouraged, which gives flexibility in execution and strategy development. Overall, the platform feels structured and trader-friendly.
Since I am still in the challenge phase, I haven’t gone through the payout process yet, so I can’t comment on that side. Additional educational material could be a nice improvement, but overall there haven’t been any major issues so far.

I was with Aqua for a period of time, they seem fine, until i reached a payout of 7000+ and then I finally seen what they look like a business. That they declined my payout, which i worked hard and consistent for nearly a month, saying i did copy trading. Then i started digging deep, many red flags, after i got email that my payout is declined i started questioning, all they could say cannot reopen case and confirm of copy trades which i never did. Be aware, keep your funds safe and away from aqua.

Payout was declined due copy trading, which i never did, they sent me a table with my trades and random trades which was lot different my 2 lots versus theirs 0.2 timing difference more than 3 minutes and even direction, so basically what they call copy trading is any lot size, any entry/exit time range within 5 mins, and any direction which is violation of fair trading and providing fair services
