best trading conditions, payout system, best customer support team, best web site and overall best prop firm. i got my 1st payout this this prop firm. I am happy to share that I have just received another funded account from City Traders Imperium. Trading with a prop firm requires trust, and CTI has proven to be incredibly trustworthy. Their dashboard is very transparent, and their customer support is always quick to help. The balance based drawdown rules allow me to trade without unnecessary daily stress. Looking forward to scaling up my account further with them. Highly recommended

Although I wasn't able to reach payout with my funded account, I was pleased with the overall experience on the account. The execution and spread was top. Zero slippage, accurate pricing and customer service.

Quite a good company. Clear and transparent terms. A long time ago, when they first opened, sometimes there were difficulties with executing orders. But then the management made the necessary reorganization (like a change in the liquidity provider) and everything became OK.

Bought $1300 funded account with 6% stop loss and 10% profit target. Spent 2 weeks and passed test. Instead of giving my winning of $2.000, they gave me a retrial account and upon question they told me I did “one sided bet” and “gambling behaviour”. Had atleast 50+ email exchange. They refunded my money in the exchange that I’ll delete their 1 star review. Please please stay away from CTI. Pay little extra to other firm but they give you peace of mind. CTI is absolutely worst. I just don’t have any more words to describe them. Absolutely worst… Update following reply:- I spent 3 weeks to get 10% and all you’ve to say is “gambling” and “one sided” trade. Friday before USA strike Iran, why would I go short gold or oil ? I paid $1300 for $80k account and had I want lower account I would have paid less… Look we both know you didn’t honour payment towards me. Evaluation took 3 weeks with no single day more than 30% of total profit. update:- 15th April 2026 - CTI refunded my payment instead of honouring my funded account. Later Trust pilot removed my review only to re-instate today after i provided evidence that CTI offered me to refund my payment only if i remove their 1 star review from here and google! I've no words of at what length CTI will go to get the positive review and they will fight till end and worst they will simply say "gambling behavior" in order to deny any payout.

Excellent Customer Service, very prompt, very impressive.....this is something I need to mention before moving any further. I just completed my level 1 target and got my KYC done and scaled up my account. The verification process was a bit complicated but the way they supported in each and every step was really commendable. Excellent team.

I’ve been trading with City Traders Imperium for a while. At First some positive aspects: Their technical infrastructure is good and also their trading conditions like commissions and spreads are good. But there are a few points which lead me to the decision that I cannot recommend them anymore: 1. hidden maximum risk rule: A few of my trades where classified as high risk, because the stop-loss was between 2.5% and 5.6% (to clarify this: I only use a stop loss greater than 5% if I already had a lot of winning positions on this day so that I automatically have more drawdown on the same day. I didn’t risk the entire daily drawdown in one go, if I am up 3% or 4% this day and open a new position with a 5% Stop Loss). That means there is technically a maximum risk rule for each instrument which is not mentioned in the rules or FAQ section 2. 150% margin rule: Their 150% margin rule is the worst in the industry. I am trading for a few other prop firms and a part of my strategy is trading one lot Gold with a SL of 15 dollars which make a risk of 1.5% on a 100k account (which aligns to their risk appetite, but not to the margin rule). Their leverage would cause a margin rule break even if your amount of risk is fully align with their rules. Another aspect: What if Gold jumps to $10,000? Should I halve my position size just to stay within their margin rule although my risk per trade stays the same? This rule is definitely constructed to fail the trader. 3. changing contract sizes without notice: I traded silver during january and february. Suddenly there was a change in the contract size (from 1000 to 5000) which causes a higher margin use. This change was not communicated and is clearly a red flag for a prop firm, especially when it causes an unintended rule break. All in all these things made it nearly impossible to trade with citytradersimperium and I cannot recommend them anymore. Also it might be interesting to know, that in the last years they very rarely offered discounts, but this year they running a 30% promotion for three months in a row now. It seems they are having issues convincing new traders.

City Trader Imperium is a pretty good property firm in my opinion. It's been around for quite some time, but unfortunately, its prices are extremely high, making it unattractive.

The Issue: I traded on their platform without any issues. My account did not hit the drawdown limit, and I never received a single warning or system alert while trading. However, the moment I submitted a payout request, their compliance team suddenly claimed my account was flagged for "High-Risk Exposure." They did not reach out to ask for clarification or provide a warning—they simply rejected the payout and closed my account immediately without any prior communication. The Contradiction: How can they claim "High Risk" when I was trading small lot sizes with reasonable, fixed Stop Losses? It is mathematically impossible for small lots with tight stops to be "excessive risk" It is clear that their system does not actually monitor risk in real-time. If you ask for a withdrawal, they invent a rule violation to close the account. If I hadn't asked for my money, my account would still be active. This is dishonest.
