I want to be clear from the start: FundedNext is a generally reputable firm. I personally received over $3,000 in legitimate payouts from them across more than 15 accounts purchased over 18 months. I am not writing this as a general complaint. I am writing it because one specific case was severely mishandled over nearly one year, and other traders deserve to know what happened. FundedNext's payout speed is genuinely outstanding — I received over $3,000 in performance rewards across multiple accounts with no delays or complications. The platform conditions are clean, the challenge structure is straightforward, and their support team was responsive in routine matters. As a trader focused on XAUUSD, the trading environment suited my strategy well. I purchased over 15 accounts with them over 18 months precisely because my early experiences were positive. My complaint is not about the firm's general operations — it is about how one specific compliance case was handled over nearly a year.
The compliance process. When a dispute arises, the handling is inconsistent and lacks accountability. In my specific case, the justification for terminating my accounts changed multiple times over nearly one year — from a margin rule, to a copy trading accusation, back to the margin rule. At one point FundedNext committed in writing that I would receive my funded account, then reversed that commitment without legitimate reason. When I proved their copy trading accusation was false, rather than honoring their written promise, they offered a refund under a take-it-or-leave-it ultimatum with no documentation signed. Most significantly, FundedNext has since updated their own published rules to explicitly state that margin violations cannot result in account termination — the exact rule used to terminate my profitable accounts. There is no process to remediate traders who were harmed under enforcement policies the firm has since self-corrected. Once a decision is made at the compliance level, it appears to be defended regardless of the evidence presented.

Summary
The margin violation itself was a brief, unintentional technical error. I accidentally opened few positions on BTCUSD in both accounts — an instrument I never regularly traded — without realising that on FundedNext's Stellar model, BTCUSD operates at 1:1 leverage, meaning no leverage at all. My primary instrument, is always XAUUSD, so trading on Bitcoin — causing an instant, unintended spike above the 70% threshold. Those positions were closed within 15 to 30 minutes once I noticed. It was not a pattern of reckless trading. It was one calculation error on an unfamiliar instrument, on accounts that were otherwise profitable and well-managed. FundedNext treated it identically to deliberate gambling behavior and terminated the accounts without any individual review of the circumstances.
