i have passed goat funded trader phase 1 and phase on 5 K standard 2 phase account After completing both phases and reaching the funded stage, i received an email claiming a Phase 1 news-trading rule breach on XAUUSD tied to a red-folder USD news event on August 26, 2026. - The email states profit was $354 with $304 above the 1% cap, and proposes deducting the excess and issuing a new Phase 2. - as per their the news was at 12:30 PM, while the trade was opened at 5:59 PM and closed at 2:10 AM, so it was not open/closed within the restricted 5-minut...

Summary
Goat Funded closed my account by saying that their risk team had observed that I violated one of their rules, and that the details would be sent later by email. However, it has now been 3 days and I have not received any email. They deliberately closed my account because my account was very close to payout.

No matter how much you keep to their rules, this company will deny you your payouts, especially when it is from big accounts. This is preposterous, and I am disappointed that the authorities are allowing such an entity to exist and defraud people in the name of providing an evaluation account. Overall, my experience with Goat Funded Trader has been solid. The platform conditions and trade execution were smooth, with fast order execution and minimal slippage during my active trades. The dashboards and account rules were transparent. Unfortunately, I ended up failing the account due to my own risk management issues before reaching the payout stage, so I haven't requested a payout yet. However, based solely on execution, spreads, and trading environment, it’s a reliable prop firm. I’ll definitely be back for another challenge soon.
