Summary
Hola Prime is one of the worst prop firms I have ever dealt with. Please stay away from this firm until cases like mine are properly addressed. I had a $100K 2-Step funded account. After becoming funded, I started trading and generated more than $5,000 in profit. Then Hola Prime emailed me saying that they had deducted my profit and reset my account. I sent them multiple emails asking for a clear reason, but they never provided a proper explanation. I started trading again. On the first day, I made around $1,400 profit, but afterward my account went into a drawdown and dropped from $100K to around $97K. I then continued trading and made approximately $1,400 profit on the first day, $1,000 the next day, and $1,947 the following day. My account eventually recovered to around $100,123. Today, I made another $726 profit, closed my trades, and was waiting for a good setup before taking another trade. However, Hola Prime immediately emailed me saying that my account had been breached due to “profit trading.” I genuinely want to understand: What exactly did I do wrong? I did not take high-risk trades, I did not gamble, and I was not risking excessively. If a trader cannot make even 1–2% profit while following the rules, then what is the purpose of a funded account? I repeatedly requested Hola Prime by email to review my case and reconsider their decision, but they keep giving me the same response: “We cannot change our decision.” They have not properly addressed my evidence or explained exactly how my trading violated their rules. I am not asking for special treatment. I am simply asking for a fair and transparent review of my account and the evidence.

Dear Sulman, Thank you for sharing your concerns. We understand your request for clarification and would like to address the reason for the action taken on your account. The action on your account was based on the trading behaviour falling under our published Prohibited Trading Practices, identified by our Risk Team during the review. During the trading cycle, the review identified a repeated pattern of speculative and gambling-style trading, where a significant portion of the account’s overall profitability was dependent on isolated trading outcomes. In particular, one XAUUSD trade accounted for approximately 228.95% of the net profit earned during the current trading cycle. Under our Prohibited Trading Practices, trading activity is expected to demonstrate consistent profitability across a meaningful number of trades. Where more than 60% of an account’s overall profit is generated from a single trade idea, trading session, or isolated outcome, the activity may be classified as speculative trading. In this case, the trading pattern identified during the review met the criteria outlined under this policy. Additionally, this was not the first time similar concerns had been identified on the account. Following the previous review, the account was rebalanced as a one-time risk-management measure, with a clear warning that continuation of similar trading behaviour could result in a hard breach. The review considered the overall trading pattern across the account. However, we would like to clarify that this matter has already been comprehensively reviewed on multiple occasions, including the concerns and evidence raised in your previous communications. Following each review, the outcome remained consistent and the original decision was upheld. Your account was breached under our 2% Risk Per Trade Idea Rule. During the review of the relevant XAUUSD trade, it was confirmed that no active Stop Loss was in place. Under our risk management framework, an active Stop Loss is required to establish defined maximum potential risk for a trade. Where no active Stop Loss is present, the trade cannot be considered to have a defined risk within the permitted parameters. We understand your request for detailed server-side or audit logs and we have shared a more detailed explaination with you. Based on a thorough review, we confirm the trade opened on 21st July 2026 and initially a Stop Loss was placed on this trade, multiple modifications also took place. However, at a later stage, the Stop Loss was removed and the trade remained open till 05:08 violating the 2% risk rule and condition of mandatory stop loss placement for a defined risk. Specific internal server logs, execution records are not available for disclosure to clients and you can check the trades history on the client dashboard or trading platfirm. The assessment was conducted using the relevant trading and execution data available to our Risk Team, and the determination was made following a comprehensive review of the account activity. The 2% Risk Per Trade Idea Rule, including the requirement to maintain defined risk through an active Stop Loss, is clearly outlined in our Trading Rules and is applied consistently across accounts. As this matter has already undergone multiple reviews and the decision has remained unchanged following those reviews, there is no further review or resolution available in relation to this case. The breach therefore remains valid and the decision is final. We appreciate that this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, but we hope this clarifies our position.
