ust wanted to share my experience with ThinkCapital for anyone considering them… So after two months of funded trading and completing my second payout cycle, they straight up denied my $4.4k payout (80% of $5,500 profit) and reset my account back to Phase 1. Their evaluation phases were reasonably priced and the dashboard was easy to use. Execution and spreads during the evaluation and funded phases were also decent.

Summary
After completing my second payout cycle, ThinkCapital denied my $4,413.60 payout (which was 80% of $5,500 profit) and reset my account back to Phase 1. Their reason was vague and subjective: they accused me of "gambling, punting, and one-sided betting" and said my funded trading style was different from my evaluation phase. However: I maintained the same risk per setup as during evaluations I never breached daily or max drawdown I never received any risk warning, leverage reduction, or prior violation notice I’ve always traded with a low-frequency, high-conviction approach They only brought this up after I completed the payout cycle and requested my second payout. Now, they’re either ignoring or ghosting my emails for days.

Your last email was unfortunately missed due to a technical issue in our shared inbox, which led to it being incorrectly filtered and left unanswered. This does not reflect the standard we aim to uphold, and we’re genuinely sorry for the inconvenience and frustration this may have caused. Regarding the reset: our records show that your trading behavior during the funded phase significantly deviated from the risk profile displayed in your evaluation. Specifically, the exposure per trade exceeded the limits outlined in our Gambling Policy — a policy clearly detailed in our FAQ. That said, we fully acknowledge the situation could have been handled with clearer communication and an earlier heads-up. As a goodwill gesture, we will be reaching out to you privately to offer a free $10,000 Lightning account. ThinkCapital Review I’ve been trading with ThinkCapital for a little over a month now. The signup was quick, and I got my credentials in under an hour. Spreads are tight, and execution on MT4 is pretty solid — barely any slippage even during news spikes. I had not passed the Challenge yet. Support is decent, tho sometimes replies take a bit. Just be carefull with news trading — they’re strict about it. Overall, it’s a reliable firm so far. Not perfect, but def one of the better ones I’ve tried. Rating: 8/10

Not a bad experience at all with ThinkCapital. I purchased my account, received my credentials immediately, and was able to start trading right away. I ended up passing the challenge, and after a quick review to ensure I followed the rules, I received my funded credentials in two business days or less. The only issue I ran into was regarding risk management. They flagged me for supposedly risking 2% or more on some trades. Tradingview integration makes this a very smooth user experience for trading. One of the very few firms to offer this. Unfortunately you cannot hide inactive accounts in the account overview. This makes it so that your dashboard and account dropdown menu in tradingview get cluttered. Slippage and spreads are acceptable, but slightly worse than FTMO. Haven't reached funded stage yet so cannot comment on payouts.

I passed my first challenge with this firm and requested a pay-out after about 10 days of trading. Within 3 days I received my pay-out of $800. I was really happy with this as I had never received a payout before. I really like the fact you can trade on trading view as well as mt5.

I really like the ability to trade with trading view and how easy it is to setup an account.
There isn't anything I don't like about the firm so far however, if anything could be improved, I would like to be able to receive the payout directly from Think Capital and not need to use Rise.io as an extra process.
