Finotive has an appealing instant funding model, one of the few where you actually trade more than your own money. This attracted me to them and when I got the first payout (which was roughly the amount invested) everything looked wonderful. But then things started to change. First, I noticed some slippage issues, way larger than before. Maybe it was not just for me and it was something that appeared for everyone in 2026. I don't know, but it surely is annoying at times, especially when you see that your trade was closed more than one pip beyond yo...

- The instant funding model - The first payout was without problems (as a coincidence, it was almost equal to the account fee) - You can choose accounts in EURO that have standard sizes (50k, 100k, 200k etc) - The overall interaction - The dashboard - Rules easy to track during trading (the official ones, at least) - Spreads are competitive during London / US sessions.
- At the second payout on instant funding, they started inventing reasons to reduce the profit share from 70% to 10%. There is nowhere any indication that you are not allowed to trade only 1 instrument with constant lot size. In my opinion, this is a sign of a clear and consistent strategy, not of gambling and the rest of allegations. - The risk team has not answered my message about their decision even though 3 weeks have passed. - Lately, the slippage is always against you, even for limit orders. - When hitting the stop loss, the slippage is sometimes very significant (more than 1 pip, even 3 pips once) even though there is no news event and London / US sessions are open - Swaps are high. On crypto they are huge and in addition to that they charge triple swaps on wednesday even though they do charge swaps during weekend also. Note: the big slippage on stops and the huge crypto swaps were observed on a separate challenge account that I have with them (still in first phase at the moment), but I am pretty sure it applies also on instant funding, which is the main target model of this review.

Summary
The account shows a consistent pattern of continued engagement in the same instrument after negative outcomes, followed by progressive recovery attempts rather than independent trade setups. This constitutes recovery-driven trading behaviour and outcome-dependent execution. Recovery / Continuation Trading Behaviour (Section 7.1(i) & 7.6(c)) The dataset demonstrates repeated re-engagement in the same instrument after losses without meaningful strategic separation. Recovery-Driven Sequences (Section 7.6(c)) Following drawdown events, multiple subsequent trades are placed on the same instrument until equity is recovered. Gambling-Style Outcome Dependence (Section 7.6(e) & 7.6(f)) The account’s profitability is largely dependent on clustered recovery trades following losses. Instead of distributed performance across independent setups, outcomes are concentrated in recovery phases after drawdowns.

Dear Ermoghen, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback and also for placing your trust in Finotive by choosing our instant funding model. We’re pleased to hear that your initial experience, including your first payout, met your expectations. At the same time, we understand that your recent experience has been frustrating, particularly regarding both the execution and payout decision. Regarding the payout adjustment, we would like to provide some additional context. All accounts are reviewed in line with our Terms & Conditions and internal risk framework. These assessments are always based on a holistic evaluation of trading behaviour over time, rather than on individual trades. In certain cases, specific patterns may result in adjustments in payout eligibility, as outlined in our policy. We understand that this outcome may feel frustrating, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective. At the same time, these measures are applied consistently to ensure a fair and sustainable trading environment for all participants. We also recognise that the delay in communication is not ideal, and your case has been followed up internally to ensure proper handling. Your feedback is taken seriously, and we are continuously working to improve both our processes and overall trader experience. We would be happy to continue supporting you moving forward and hope to regain your full confidence over time. Best regards, — The Finotive Funding Team

Trading is inherently performance-driven. If exposure remains within limits and no risk rules are violated, profitability should not be penalised simply because a trade performs well. Notably, similar trade behaviour did not trigger issues during smaller payout cycles. 2) Position Splitting / Clustered Entries Opening multiple positions within seconds was labelled as “position sp

Dear Thokozani, Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed breakdown of your experience, and also for previously recommending Finotive, we truly value that. We’re glad to hear that your earlier payouts were processed smoothly. At the same time, we understand that the recent outcome has been frustrating, especially given the difference in payout size. We would like to provide some additional context around the decision. Your account was reviewed in detail by our Risk Team, and a comprehensive explanation was shared with you outlining the assessment and the specific factors considered, in line with our Terms & Conditions. As part of our framework, all accounts are evaluated holistically, meaning that trading behaviour is assessed across the full dataset rather than on individual trades in isolation. These evaluations are not triggered by the size of a withdrawal request, but by identifiable patterns in execution and risk structure, as defined in our policy. We understand that certain approaches, such as scaling into positions or adapting across instruments, can be part of a trading strategy. At the same time, the evaluation considers how these elements combine over time within the broader context of consistency and risk methodology. Regarding execution, slippage can occur in live market environments and may vary depending on market conditions. We understand that this can be frustrating, and such feedback is continuously reviewed as part of our efforts to improve overall trading conditions. We appreciate you taking the time to outline your concerns in detail. At the same time, the applied measures are part of a consistent framework designed to ensure a fair and sustainable environment for all traders. We remain available should you wish to continue trading with us, and we would be happy to support you going forward. Best regards, — The Finotive Funding Team

It is with pain in my heart that I’m writing this review. I have been trading with finotive funding since October, 2025. I have gotten few payouts to my finotive pay wallet but the first time I withdrew out was $401 on 20th February, 2026. I proceeded to request another payout to my finotive pay same day, then immediately I got an email from compliance team that I need to undergo elevated verification, Which I did immediately. To my surprise, I was banned and my $1,918.57 payout was seized. After appealing, they told me it was due to the local...

Finotive Funding has a major issue with execution quality. I have noticed consistent discrepancies in where my trades are filled compared to the actual market price. Even during low-volatility periods, the spreads are suspiciously wide. I raised this with their team, and they gave me the standard 'slippage' excuse. As an experienced trader, I know the difference between market slippage and poor broker feeds. Other prop firms provide much tighter execution on the same assets (like XAGUSD). If you care about fair execution, look elsewhere.

Honestly, the only thing I liked was the fast account activation. But what's the point of having an account quickly if the spreads eat your profits immediately? The technical execution makes it nearly impossible to maintain a strategy.
Terrible spreads and poor trade execution. They claim it's slippage, but other prop firms don't have this issue under identical market conditions. It’s hard to stay profitable when the platform works against you, and support refuses to take responsibility for their poor price feeds.

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns so clearly. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience with execution quality did not meet your expectations. Trade execution is a critical part of any trading environment, and we fully understand how discrepancies between expected and filled prices can be frustrating, especially for experienced traders. Regarding spreads and slippage, execution can vary depending on liquidity providers, market depth, asset type (including metals like XAGUSD), and real-time market conditions. While slippage can occur in both high and low volatility environments, we appreciate that from a trader’s perspective, the distinction between normal market behavior and feed-related concerns is important. If you experienced consistent pricing discrepancies, that is something we would want to review in detail — including timestamps, order types, and market conditions at the time of execution. We do not dismiss execution concerns lightly, and each case can be examined more closely when full trade data is provided. Your feedback about comparative execution with other firms is also noted. We continuously evaluate our liquidity and infrastructure to ensure competitive and fair trading conditions. We appreciate you raising this publicly and respectfully. Transparency and continuous improvement are important to us, and constructive criticism helps us move forward. — The Finotive Funding Team

Everything is fine, but only thing finotive tick scalping time, i.e 5 minutes, 99% prop firms have 2 minutes tick scalping time ,at 1 time tick scalping time was increased to 10 minutes, This tick scalping rule is roughly 7.8 number rule, This must b mentioned in landing page of finotive website, So out of tick scalping n cash risk rule, I would prefer cash risk rule, as I'm scalper

Thank you for your detailed feedback, we truly appreciate you sharing your perspective as a scalper. We understand that the 5-minute tick scalping rule can feel restrictive, especially when many firms operate with a 2-minute threshold. We also acknowledge that there was a period when the rule was adjusted to 10 minutes, and we understand how changes like that can create confusion or require strategy adjustments. Your suggestion about making the tick scalping rule (Rule 7.8) more clearly visible on the landing page is very valuable. Transparency is important, and we agree that highlighting key rules more prominently can help traders make fully informed decisions before purchasing an account. We also understand your preference for a cash risk–based rule rather than a time-based scalping restriction. Different traders have different styles, and feedback like yours helps us evaluate how we can better accommodate various strategies while maintaining risk management standards. Thank you again for taking the time to provide constructive input — it genuinely helps us improve. — The Finotive Funding Team

Ik 5 stars seems a bit too much but to be honest I've had no issues with them whatsoever. Their Discord and AI support has been very helpful. Payouts are being paid out on time. One thing i would suggest is to read carefully their terms and conditions and about their scalping rule on section 7. I didn't know about it and my first payout was reduced from 1000 dollars to 100. It sucked, but i learned to trade around that and since then I've had 5 payouts and 0 issues whatsoever

The Instant Standard Account conditions of trading are ine of the best. The fact that i can do one single trade and request a payout is totally worth it for me
The fact that if you request a payout say it on Thursday if it goes under manual review, its going to be rolled over the next cycle which is the next Friday. I would suggest to request a payout on Thursday or Wednesday at latest

I had my account with them, the commission is higher than other places, though the main issue is the notional volume, on their website say you have a number of open lots. Not the risk, I use an expert to limit my risk 0.75% and do not use more than 50% of the free margin. now given my strategy is scalping, my SL is usually small, hence the volume is usually high. Now they failed bc of a soft breach, where they say we can reset it if the balance is positive. * I cant attach a picture of their FAQ here for everyone to see. On their website, they d...

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We genuinely appreciate you explaining your strategy and experience. First, regarding commission levels, we understand that cost structure is an important factor for traders — especially scalpers. Our pricing reflects the overall trading environment, liquidity, and infrastructure provided, but we always review conditions to remain competitive. On the Notional Volume rule, we understand how this can feel restrictive for traders using tight stop losses and higher lot sizes. As stated in our guidelines, the rule is based on total open lot exposure (not percentage risk), which can indeed affect scalping strategies where position sizes are larger relative to stop distance. We recognize that this may not align with every strategy, and your feedback is valuable in helping us improve how clearly this is communicated. Regarding the soft breach → hard breach transition, we’re sorry to hear that this wasn’t clear in your case. Our policies outline how soft breaches are handled, including when resets may be possible if the account remains positive. However, resets are not automatic because each case requires review to ensure compliance with all trading conditions and to confirm no additional rule violations occurred simultaneously. As for the slippage situation you described, market execution can occasionally result in price discrepancies — especially during volatility or liquidity shifts — even when conditions appear calm. That said, we understand how frustrating this can be, particularly when it leads to unintended rule triggers. We also take your comments about support seriously. If you were shown information that you could not locate on our website, that is something we want to review internally for clarity and consistency. We truly value constructive criticism like this. Transparency and fairness are priorities for us, and feedback like yours helps us refine both our communication and trader experience. If you’re open to it, we’d encourage you to reach out again so your specific case can be reviewed once more in detail. — The Finotive Funding Team
