4 payouts so far from Instant Funding (largest one +$8K). Honestly, I’ve got nothing but good things to say. The firm keeps evolving and regularly rolls out new products, which I really appreciate. I’ve never had a single issue or complaint. Trading with them played a big part in me becoming a profitable trader. They’re part of my journey and part of my success, That’s how I see it. Real love for Instant Funding.

A Claimed $3.5 Million Stop-Loss Risk I Never Set It appears to be a serious issue with Instant Funding’s internal monitoring system, as it may report totally incorrect Stop-Loss levels that do not match the official cTrader server history This concerns an old $300,000 account that had grown to approximately $345,000 before a Maximum Position Drawdown violation. At that time, I assumed the issue might have resulted from an accidental Stop-Loss entry. However, after similar discrepancies were reported across approximately 10 trades in a newer acco...

I liked the trading conditions, the availability of large account sizes, and the opportunity to trade through cTrader. My overall experience was positive until the account violations occurred.
The reliance on internal monitoring data when closing accounts, even when the reported Stop-Loss levels do not match the official cTrader server history. I would expect such serious violations to be verified using cTrader server-side evidence before a final decision is made.

Summary
The firm stated that one Gold position had a Stop Loss of −14,944 and a potential risk of approximately $3.5 million. However, the official cTrader server history shows that the actual Stop Loss was approximately 5,035, with a potential loss of around $3,500. The account was closed based on the firm’s internal monitoring data, despite this major discrepancy.

Hi Wael, We have reviewed your appeal in full regarding account 3064259 and we write to confirm the outcome of that review. Our monitoring system identified multiple violations of the Risk Per Trade Idea rule across your funded account. Under the IF Micro trading rules, as published on our official help page, a trader may not risk or lose more than 1% of the starting account balance at any time within a single trade idea. A trade idea is defined as all open positions on a single instrument in the same direction, whether Buy or Sell. For account 3064259, with a starting balance of USD 300,000, the maximum permissible risk per trade idea is fixed at USD 3,000. This threshold is calculated against the starting account balance and does not vary with the live account balance at any point during trading. Following a thorough review of your trading activity, multiple positions were identified where the Stop Loss placement on XAGUSD resulted in a risk exposure that materially exceeded the USD 3,000 threshold. These trades were not isolated incidents. The pattern was observed across several positions, each of which was individually reviewed and confirmed as non-compliant with the Risk Per Trade Idea rule. As each of these positions represented a standalone violation of this rule, the cumulative weight of these findings leaves no ambiguity as to the nature or validity of the breach determination. The Risk Per Trade Idea rule constitutes a hard breach under our published trading guidelines. A hard breach results in the immediate closure of the funded account. This outcome is automatic and non-discretionary once a violation of this rule is confirmed. Instant Funding Team

I am updating this review for the second time. The first version described a breach in April 2026; the firm resolved it and I updated the review positively. The same error has now recurred on a second account, so this update sets out both events with the figures. APRIL 2026 — ACCOUNT 8084676 I held a $100,000 IF Micro account. One position was flagged: Instrument: JPN225.x | Direction: Buy | Lot size: 0.1 Entry: 52,250.78 | Stop Loss: 50,622.64 (distance 1,628.14 points) The monitoring system reported a risk figure of 16,281.4 against the $1,000...

What I liked most about Instant Funding was the instant access to a funded account with no evaluation phase, profit target, or time pressure. That let me focus on trading rather than on passing a challenge. The high profit split (up to 90%) and the scaling structure are genuinely attractive for traders looking to grow. I also want to give credit where it is due: when my account was incorrectly flagged in April 2026, the senior support team reviewed the case manually, acknowledged the mistake, reinstated the account and approved my payout. That was handled professionally and quickly, and it showed there are people behind the automated systems. I would note that this was my experience in April. When the same calculation error recurred in August on a second account, the review reached the opposite conclusion — details in my main summary.
The main issue is the lack of transparency in how the 1% risk-per-trade rule is calculated on JPY-quoted instruments such as JPN225. In my case a position with a proper Stop Loss was flagged as a breach because the risk figure was compared against the USD threshold without being converted from JPY first. The system reported 28,692.80 against a $1,000 limit; the actual risk was about $178, or 0.18% of the account. On my April account the same pattern produced 16,281.4 against a true risk of $101.82. What concerns me most is that this was identified and corrected in April, and then recurred in August on a second account — and the second review confirmed the breach without addressing the earlier one. On both occasions I asked for the exact point value the system applies to JPN225, and on both occasions the question went unanswered. There was also no warning before either closure, which made the experience stressful. I would like to see the firm publish the point values used per instrument, convert risk into the account's reporting currency before comparison, and introduce pre-breach warnings. These are fixable process issues rather than anything fundamental about the product.

Reason
Breach Reason
Breach of the Gambling and Over-Leveraging Rule — specifically the 1% risk/loss per trade threshold. The firm also cited One-Sided Betting as a secondary finding.
Summary
Account 8102757 ($100,000 IF Micro) was closed on 12 August 2026. The flagged position was 33712110, JPN225.x Buy 0.4 lots, entry 61,871.05, stop loss 61,153.73 — a distance of 717.32 index points. The monitoring system reported a "probable loss" of 28,692.80 against the $1,000 threshold. That figure is 717.32 x 40 (0.4 lots x contract size 100), which is the risk expressed in JPY — the quote currency of the Nikkei 225 — with no conversion into the account's USD reporting currency. The firm's own detection screenshot contains the correction. At detection the floating P/L was -$55.79 with the price 228.26 points from entry. 228.26 x 40 = 9,130.40 JPY; divided by $55.79 this gives 163.66, the prevailing USD/JPY rate. Converting the stop-loss risk at that rate gives $175.31. Independently, across all 16 closed JPN225 positions in my MT5 history, one index point is worth $0.621 per lot, giving $178.17. Both methods put the risk at approximately 0.18% of balance against a 1% limit. The same error occurred on my previous account 8084676 in April 2026 (ticket #255101): JPN225 Buy 0.1 lots, entry 52,250.78, stop loss 50,622.64, system figure 16,281.4, actual risk $101.82. On that occasion support replied: "After a thorough review of your account, we identified that it was mistakenly flagged. This issue has now been resolved, and your account has been fully reinstated." In August my first appeal was auto-closed for inactivity in the same minute it was sent. On the second appeal the Risk Team confirmed the breach, stating the calculation uses "the account's reporting currency" — which is USD, and is the point in dispute. The April precedent was not addressed, and my request for the exact point value applied to JPN225 went unanswered in April and again in August. Across all 173 closed positions on this account, no position carried a stop-loss risk above $883, the largest realised loss was $731 (0.73%), and the maximal balance drawdown in the MT5 report is 2.70%. A formal complaint has been filed under clause 21.1 of the terms.
