Mi experiencia personal con FTMO fue fuerte, porque fue mi primera evaluación en CFDs… y la quemé. Entré motivado, con confianza, pensando que la iba a pasar sin problema. Pero ya cuando estás en evaluación real, la presión es otra. No es lo mismo que demo ni nada de eso. Cometí varios errores que en el momento no veía claros: sobreoperé, subí el riesgo más de la cuenta y en algunos trades dejé que las emociones decidieran por mí. Lo que más me gustó de la forma de FTMO fue la estructura clara que te obliga a ser disciplinado. Me gustó que todo está bien definido: Tienes un objetivo de profit claro Un drawdown máximo diario y total Y reglas específicas que, si las sigues, sabes exactamente qué esperar Eso te pone en modo profesional sí o sí. No es como tradear sin control, aquí cada decisión cuenta.
Lo que menos me gustó de FTMO fue la presión constante del drawdown, sobre todo el diario. Sientes que no tienes mucho margen para equivocarte. Un mal día o dos trades mal gestionados y ya estás cerca de violar la cuenta. Eso hace que a veces uno opere más tenso de lo normal, y esa misma presión puede jugarte en contra. También: El límite diario puede sacarte aunque tu análisis sea bueno a largo plazo A veces sientes que estás más enfocado en no perder que en ejecutar bien Y psicológicamente, el hecho de que es una evaluación pagada pesa En resumen, lo que menos me gustó fue que el sistema puede volverse muy exigente mentalmente, especialmente si todavía no tienes el control emocional al 100%.

The company is good, but the slippage and spread are deadly in this field. You have $200 left, and the daily minimum loss is between 30 and 50 pips. If you've calculated this, it will go the opposite way, and you'll lose your account in an unreasonable way.

I have traded with FTMO since 2010. I have no complaints, no hidden rules. No payment denial, unlike some scammer propfirms like FUNDEDNEXT and 5ers. No one urged me to do this review, but I believe it is necessary to do so because it's not only when we have a wrong experience that we come and do review. FTMO pays me each biweekly when I make profits. No concerns at all.

The professionalism and structure. No hidden rules, execution is solid, and the overall system feels very transparent. I also appreciate how disciplined the evaluation process is it really pushes you to trade properly and manage risk seriously.
