I have two accounts with GFT one is instant and one is 1 step challenge. The entry fee is moderate and within range. The challenge rules are clear. I am definitely looking for prop firms with no consistency rule, profit targets, minimum trading days. Just get funded and trade and stay within the described loss limits. Although GFT does have a consistency rule, minimum profit days and target, I am okay with it and hence I signed up as they offer better than market conditions I have seen within other prop firms. Some firms do hide about the payout frequency and what targets the traders need to meet. I like the transparent and professional outlook of GFT.

Okay so I purchased and traded on 100k instant pro account after 2 weeks when i requested a payout of 3800$ they rejected it after 2 days saying my account match with someone else account i crossed check on my device but i didnt get any account like that not even i shared my account details with someone else so after that i mail them so many times but no response from last 10 days… Yes its been 10 days they are not responding i have all proof but they are not even replying i have all proof of mails i did and there rejection mail and when i messaged support team on discord they timed out me

This means that previous profits can later reduce your available drawdown room. Eventually, my account failed even though the situation felt very different from a traditional static drawdown model. ## Why This Rule Can Be Difficult Many traders think: * Profit increases safety. * Higher account equity means more breathing room. * After making money, the account should become harder to fail. With a trailing drawdown system, that is not always how it works. As your account reaches new highs, the drawdown threshold follows those highs. For example: * Account grows. * Equity reaches a new peak. * Drawdown limit rises. * A later market reversal can trigger failure even after a profitable period. For traders who use swing trading, recovery systems, Gold trading, or strategies with temporary equity fluctuations, this can become very challenging. ## Support Response After contacting support, I received confirmation that: * The drawdown is trailing. * Previously reached floating or realized profits can affect the drawdown threshold later. * The system is working as designed. I appreciate that support responded professionally and explained the rule clearly. ## My Personal Opinion In my opinion, this type of drawdown model is not ideal for newer traders. The reason is simple: A trader may feel successful after growing the account, but later discover that those same profits have effectively moved the risk line higher. I respect Goat Funded Trader's right to operate its chosen account model, but I personally found the trailing drawdown structure too restrictive for my style of trading. I purchased like 5k accounts 5times, never passed any of them, spreads suck for scalpers who are trading indices on LTF like 1m,3m,5m, a clear 5RR on Tradingview becomes 3RR on MT5 with em, also they have no discord ticket support program which takes forever to get answered. i cannot join other Traders on TL to complain about blamable payout denials bcz i never was funded with em
