My experience with this prop trading firm was very disappointing. After achieving significant profits on my account, I was informed by the Risk Department that my trading behavior was considered “gambling and speculative” rather than disciplined trading. Their reasoning was that a large portion of my profits came from two strong trades and that my remaining trades were negative overall. In my view, this reasoning is problematic. What I disliked the most was the lack of transparency and the feeling that expectations changed after reaching the Funded Stage. Rules that appeared acceptable during the challenge seemed to be interpreted differently once profits were generated, which made the evaluation process feel inconsistent and difficult to trust. I was also dissatisfied because, in my case, the profits were ultimately not paid out after my trading activity was reclassified as speculative. That experience significantly reduced my confidence in the evaluation and payout process. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this firm. My advice would be to carefully review how trading performance, risk management, and payout decisions are interpreted in practice before participating.

Dear Michael, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate the opportunity to provide further clarification regarding the review of your account. Following a detailed assessment of your trading activity on your account, our Risk Team identified a trading pattern that aligns with gambling and speculative behavior rather than a structured and sustainable trading approach. Our review found that the profitability of the account was overwhelmingly dependent on two exceptionally large winning trades, which accounted for approximately 118% of the account's total gains. In contrast, the remaining trades on the account collectively resulted in a net loss. When these two trades are excluded from the analysis, the account's overall performance becomes negative. A sustainable trading strategy should demonstrate the ability to generate consistent returns across multiple independent trades and varying market conditions. When overall profitability relies entirely on a small number of outsized winners while the broader trading activity remains unprofitable, it indicates that the underlying strategy lacks consistency and replicability in a real-market environment. Such trading behavior is characteristic of speculative or gambling-style trading rather than disciplined, risk-managed execution. As this pattern falls within our prohibited practices relating to gambling and speculative trading, the account was deemed to be in breach of our trading policy. However, as a goodwill gesture, rather than terminating the account, we rebalanced the account back to its initial balance, providing you with the opportunity to continue trading under the program guidelines. These measures are applied consistently to protect the integrity of the platform and to encourage a more sustainable and disciplined trading approach for all participants. Additionally, after the account subsequently breached due to a Maximum Loss Limit violation, our team proactively reached out to discuss the matter and offer the best possible resolution available.
