Dopo quasi due mesi di attività di trading corretta e in regola, una volta raggiunto il traguardo per il payout, ho ricevuto due email da Instant Funding a distanza di poche ore. La prima email mi segnalava una violazione per trading ad alta frequenza (HFT). Hanno riconosciuto che si trattava del mio primo avvertimento e hanno chiaramente specificato che *l’account non sarebbe stato chiuso*, ma che il profitto della singola operazione ($75) sarebbe stato detratto. La mattina seguente, ho ricevuto una seconda email in cui mi veniva comunicata la *chiusura definitiva dell’account* per una presunta “violazione di copy trading”, *senza alcuna spiegazione, prova o riferimento concreto* a un’operazione specifica. Da allora, nonostante i numerosi tentativi di contattare il supporto e chiedere chiarimenti, non ho mai ricevuto alcuna informazione precisa. Le risposte sono state tutte *generiche*, facendo riferimento a "politiche di gestione di rischio" , ma senza fornire mai dettagli. ----- After almost two months of correct and compliant trading activity, once I reached the payout milestone, I received two emails from Instant Funding just a few hours apart. The first email notified me of a high-frequency trading (HFT) violation. They acknowledged that it was my first warning and clearly stated that the account would not be closed, but that the profit from that single trade ($75) would be deducted. The following morning, I received a second email informing me of the permanent closure of the account for an alleged “copy trading violation,” without any explanation, evidence, or concrete reference to a specific trade. Since then, despite numerous attempts to contact support and request clarification, I have never received any precise information. All responses have been generic, referring to “risk management policies,” but never providing any actual details.

After reviewing the matter, we can confirm that the account was found to be in breach of our Terms & Conditions, specifically relating to copy trading between two different customers and the sharing of IP addresses. These practices are strictly prohibited under our funded trader agreement and are also not tolerated across the prop firm industry. All accounts must be traded independently and solely by the individual who completed KYC for that account. Copy trading and IP sharing create an unbalanced and unsustainable risk profile, which is why these rules are enforced industry-wide. I had purchased 10K IF Micro Account and I had been steadily trading on it and my account had grew more than 3% in profits but they have breached my account stating 1% Per Instrument Rule which got never breached even if I combine all my current trade, the loses are well below 0.5% of my overall equity. I got a mail stating "maximum position drawdown" and my account got breached now immediately i mailed the support team asking for clarity and they told me that i violated 1% risk per trade rule...now when this rule was introduced at that time I mailed the team asking about the detailed meaning of the rule because I only trade BTC and i just do short sell so this was a bit concerning for me at that time and when i asked the support team they gave me clarification as below Under the 1% risk-per-instrument rule for IF Micro accounts, your total open risk on any single instrument (for example, all open XAUUSD trades combined) must not exceed 1% of your account balance at any given time. This rule does not apply to cumulative losses over multiple trades — it only considers your active exposure while positions are open. So, as long as your combined open risk on that instrument never exceeds 1% of your balance, your account will remain compliant" Now as you can see the team told me that 1% accounts to risk of all open trades of the same instrument and does not apply to cumulative losses.Now my account was around 10354$ yesterday and I lost around 51$ now today was a fresh day and as soon as I took my first trade I got a breach mail and that trade got cancelled and even in that trade my risk was just around 7-8$ and when i mailed the team asking for the reason so they just twisted the meaning of the 1% rule and they said as below "Your account has experienced a hard breach of the 1% Risk-Per-Instrument Rule for IF Micro accounts. This rule states that your total risk on any single instrument cannot exceed 1% of your account balance, including the combined risk of all trades on that instrument. " Now even on the official website they have written as "Risking or losing more than 50% of your daily drawdown at any time in one trade idea is considered gambling, and constitutes a hard breach. A trade idea includes all open positions on a single instrument in the same direction." Now as we can clearly see the statement on the official website says "all open positions" So here as we can see the team is not clearly aware about the rule within themselves and they are just flagging us without any logical reason... now even if i forget about the Open position statement i didn't even loos more than 100$ in all combined trades so this is just ridiculous and unethical of Instant Funding to flag me... its been more than 2 months im working hard on my account to get a payout and they just flag me without any logical reason... I never lost more than 100$ in a single trade nor in all combined trades...

The part I liked most about Instant Funding was the simplicity of their account structure and the fast withdrawal process they advertised. The onboarding was smooth, the dashboard was easy to use, and the support team initially responded quickly. I also appreciated that the rules were presented as trader-friendly, especially the IF Micro model, which seemed designed for consistent long-term growth. Their pricing and platform access were also competitive compared to many other prop firms.
What I liked the least about the firm was the inconsistency in rule enforcement and the lack of clarity when reviewing payout cases. The rules were changed suddenly, and in my situation, the Risk Team applied the new rule to a trade dated before the rule was even introduced, which created confusion and unnecessary stress. The payout review process felt unclear, and communication from the risk department did not properly address the timeline or evidence I provided. This inconsistency in handling payouts and rule interpretation was the most disappointing part of my experience with the firm.

Summary
Instant Funding denied my payout based on a false rule-violation claim that does not match their own official timeline. On 17/10/2025, Instant Funding support emailed me confirming that the new 1% risk-per-instrument rule was introduced on that day and would be fully implemented from 20/10/2025 onward. The same email clearly states that the rule is not retroactive, and it does not apply to any trades executed before 17/10/2025. Despite this, the Instant Funding Risk Team rejected my payout by using a trade dated 16/10/2025 as the basis of the violation. This trade occurred one day before the new rule existed and four days before implementation. The risk team treated this pre-rule trade as if it violated the new 1% exposure requirement, even though the rule had not been announced, implemented, or applied at that time. Before the denial, on 31/10/2025, Instant Funding support had already confirmed my payout, verifying that my account was fully compliant and showing no violations.

I completed the one-phase challenge and the trading conditions were legit. Spreads stayed tight during NY session, execution was stable even on phone, and there were no random spikes or tricks that usually kill accounts. The rules were simple and the dashboard tracked drawdown accurately, so I always knew where I stood. The only downside is the Ul-it feels slow and could be smoother. But overall, the challenge was fair, the environment was stable, and the firm delivered what they advertised.

The one-phase challenge felt straightforward and fair. Spreads stayed tight during NY session, execution was stable even on mobile, and the metrics updated accurately so I always knew my real drawdown. No manipulation, no random spikes, and the trading environment matched what they advertised.
The dashboard UI needs work. It feels slow at times and isn't as smooth as other firms. Nothing major, but it's the only part that looks outdated compared to the trading conditions, which were solid.
